I have heard about how delicious The Black Beans Cafe is and I had to try it for myself.
First of all, the restaurant is very clean.
We were greeting with a smile and the staff are all very sweet.
The food was delicious! Everything ordered was fantastic!
I highly recommend and I will go back.

Small intimate restaurant. Most parking is in the rear. Delicious, quality Cuban food. Excellent value, large portions. Never had a bad meal. Much better than Las Vegas restaurants.

Have driven by here my whole life and never stopped in to eat here and after seeing a review on a Facebook group I had to try it and wow it was spot on! The sopa de res was one of the best I've ever had, the masitas de puerco where delish and plentiful along with some authentic and tasty red beans and rice. To top off the delishious food the service was amazing and attentive. Found my new local latin restaurant (only 5 minutes away at that lol)

It was 3 of us for lunch the food was good and portions were good the dessert and coffee was good too the beans were from a can though which was surprising for a place called the black bean cafe it could also use a face lift but other then that it was good

I've only ever ordered takeout, but everything has been absolutely delicious! I do not live in the area, but I am sure to place an order when I visit. I dream about the fish soup and would have it every day if I could. Would love the recipe if it's not top secret! 😂😉

Service here is disgusting. Took too long for the food. I had to ask for water and the waitress didn’t even bring it to me but it on the counter and called me to come get it. I asked to eat here and they put the food to go. If you’re that miserable or don’t want to serve Black people find another way to spend your time.

The food was ok but the server is rude and judgmental. Gave me a receipt that didn’t make any sense and was rude about it. She was rude the moment we sat down because we ask for water. It probably best just to do take out. For this being my first time here I was not impressed. It’s also the holidays she should be in a better mood.

The star here, unsurprisingly, is the black beans—deeply seasoned, velvety, and cooked to perfection. Paired with fluffy rice, they’re the perfect foundation for the café’s other specialties. The ropa vieja is rich and tender, the lechón asado is smoky with a citrusy zing, and the tostones are fried to golden perfection.
The service is warm and personal; you can tell the staff take pride in sharing their heritage through food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick café cubano to-go or settling in for a full plate, you’re treated like family.
The Black Beans Café isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a little corner of Cuba right in our community. Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe a little homesick for Havana.
