A really cute restaurant in Hollywood. Parking is free but a little tight. My first visit was lovely (about 4 months ago). We had coffee and empanadas. Their menu looked good, so coming back was a must.
Months later, I finally went again (today) and it was a nice experience. Instead of the waiter taking our order at the table, we had to go to the counter. That was different than the last time. The food was good and coffee was okay. I think their drinks are way too sweet. I asked for a single pump of sweetner and again, it was too sweet. I also feel like my drink was half sweet foam and half coffee. Besides the coffee disappointment, I really enjoyed the "better than" sandwich and the breakfast "pizza". I ended up with a key lime pie to go and that was also okay. It doesn't have a strong lime flavor.
Overall, it is a cute little place to have breakfast and I recommend their "better than" sandwich.

So yummy. So friendly
The Modern Rose in Hollywood is a fantastic spot for breakfast. Their food is delicious, but it's a small and cozy place that fills up quickly, so be sure to get there early!

I saw this restaurant recommended on Let’s Eat South Florida Facebook group & decided to try it for my birthday breakfast this morning. Let me start off by saying I love the way they decorated, it was beautiful & elegant! It’s almost like a fancy, but not fancy atmosphere. The staff were all wonderful & everyone greeted us as soon as we walked in. Our server was very attentive & so friendly! We ordered the boba flight to share which were delish!, I ordered the modern egg pizza which was amazing & so full of flavor, my partner ordered the purky turkey which was also very good & was gone in about 5 seconds lol, & my son ordered the berry in love which was also delicious! To go, I ordered a pumpkin bourbon loaf which was so moist & so full of flavor, & a carrot cake which was also delicious. Unfortunately I missed the fall menu so I will definitely be back soon to try that before it’s gone! Overall everything was amazing & I can’t wait to go back again!
**I’d also like to mention there were lots of vegan options

Service is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The food is delicious, love the cbr . The lemonade a bit sweet but great. The only thing would be the wait but the food is good. As well as parking can be hard to find since it’s small.

Went for breakfast and coffee. The menu has so many great options for both food, coffee and tea. Rafael and the rest of the staff were welcoming and attentive. I really recommend this coffee shop.

The atmosphere is cool, captivating decor, friendly staff, the music is low so conversations are really emphasized, all staff is prepared to help you with any questions you may have and also greet with a smile. You can dine in or take out, there are seating options inside and outside, the food and drinks are all prepared with care - you can ask questions and even make substitutions (if available).
I did not give 5 star for one issue that occurred but they resolved it quickly.

This place has a very unique aesthetic, along with its old music playlist it reminds me of visiting my grand parents. Cozy, retro, and the food is delicious.
The items on the menu highlighted a different color are their more popular items, and they did not disappoint. Everything tasted less sweet and more fresh than many other places which means healthier too.
Would definitely recommend!

Suuupwr interesting, creative, with fresh and friendly staff, I was lucky to be served by Jesús the barista and he changed the direction of my day, I was in a hurry and I reset the day with his good energy. Furthermore, I am a sucker for coffee and he knew how to listen and make me a good coffee. He is super helpful, attentive and understanding. Coffee with roses and vanilla is delicious ?. Now I'll go back for the lavender one. Several languages are spoken, the staff is seriously very nice and it has a semi-hipster note that makes you want to take a break from the day's flow and sit down and enjoy. Congratulations, I loved this place! I recommend it and obviously I will return

I ordered their “immensely” popular "Tulum Sammie" as recommended by Josh. I have to say it most definitely lives up to the hype. He also suggested their churro cold brew which was one of the best coffees l've had, the sweet caramel foam on top is soooo good.
Parking: After my meal I was informed of the available parking lot behind the storefront. This strip mall has very bad parking in the front but apparently a lot of extra space in the rear, oh well I know for next time.
Kid-friendliness: They seem to have plenty of colorful and exciting options for kids and adults. :)

We found this place on IG and we decided to try it back in May. Came back for a second round and I can say that is one of my favorite brunch spots in all Florida, the atmosphere is amazing, food is INCREDIBLE and the staff was super nice and kind as always. Rafael and Josh were amazing.
Serving and hospitality jobs are very hard and only the ones that have worked in the industry can relate, these guys, are just one of the best crews I’ve ever seen, truly amazing and kind service. Can’t stress that enough, for real.
Try the Tulum Sammie, the Churro cold brew and the apple rose fritter, can’t go wrong with that, my husband had the vegetarian option and he loved it too.
I would love to live near by so I can be here more often but every time I’m in the area, this place is a must!

I love this place, I been here twice with my then boyfriend and now husband and some friends. It's a golden trove in the upper Hollywood area and the food and service will outright blow you away. My favorite drink is the Violet Boba and Boca Egg Sammy with vegan sausage and real egg and I always get the Apple Rose Fritter. 10/10. The waiters are phenomenal, just outright phenomenal. Josh and Rafael are just amazing at greeting and knowing the menu and offering great recommendations. Everyone here works as a team, special S/O to Brian for tending to our table so attentively and S/O the Birthday Brian for being so kind on offering some of your birthday cake to my husband and I ?. If you come here on Saturday, come early and make a quick reservation, this place is always busy and packed every weekend ?.
