They took too long to bring the food to the table. We felt like we were going to leave when they brought it in. We thought it was outrageous to charge $12 for five pieces of bread. We will not go back.
Awesome! This is what Venice needed. Great cozy Venice vibes with steak house feel! Food is off the charts. Chef is killing it!
Great experience, food was AMAZING. Would highly recommend to anyone who really wants a high quality steak. Don't each meat very often, but when I do...I want to do it right.
It seemed like there was one waiter handling our entire section of the floor. He worked very hard and was solid but our meal took 3.5 hours. The price point was high but the decor and vibes were great. The food was really good but the desert was inedible
Sat our table 20 mins late, then after we sat down never gave us menus. Took them 15 mins to realize we didn't have menus. Then forgot to take drink order at first. Tried to order mocktail, but they said they were out of stock. Switched waiters on us unannounced in the middle of dinner. Food was delicious. We ordered two desserts (ice cream) and they took 15 mins to bring the ice cream out and only brought one when we asked for two. Whole dinner took around 2 hours which was slow. Food was yummy but service was disorganized. Wish they had chocolate cake on the menu. Acknowledged in reservation that it was a birthday dinner and they did nothing for the bday but saw the brought out a candle for the birthday dinner sitting next to us that I assume they forgot or didn't read the reservation details.
We are so excited to have a cozy and cool premium steakhouse in Venice! We loved everything! The bread, the wedge salads, the scallops, the potatoes, and excellent steaks cooked to perfection! The chocolate sorbet is so good that I thought it was gelato! Nice bar with limited seats, but appropriate for the restaurant.
Exceptional steaks, worth the price. Comfortable neighborhood steakhouse feel with great service. Would rank it higher than a Steak 48 and a Maestros especially if you want a more intimate dining experience. Desserts were all very good, tried all. The "whipped ice cream" is a game changer. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and honest in their recommendations.
There haven't been many restaurants lately that made me wish and say out loud that I really really hope they do well and stay around for a very long time. This steakhouse in the heart of my hometown, Venice, is in a wonderful location right next to the beach, valet parking, which is almost required in this area and best of all just really good food A 22 ounce bone in ribeye, a side of Haricot vert, and pomme frites (really good french fries fried and beef tallow), is all you need here. As a bonus, the apps were really good, the drinks were tasty and the service as you can imagine was excellent. Nick was our server and he was just the right amount of attentive. I'm looking forward to taking all my friends and family here to watch their face when they have a bite of their steak
Worst service experience I have ever had. 20 minutes from sitting down until a waiter came around. Didn't discuss the menu, didn't talk to us. Then didn't come back at all, didn't take dirty plates. Girlfriend's birthday too, I even wrote that in the notes. Easily worst service in all my LA dining experiences, first time ever writing a review too, just abysmal waitress, will not recommend to anyone and not go back. Steak was fire though!
Host was friendly but repeatedly insisted I had no reservation for about 15 minutes, despite me showing the RedTable confirmation. He then asked me to prove the account was mine on my phone — I had to help him find my full name on his iPad before we could be seated for our 8:30 reservation. We ordered two cocktails (lemon drop and tequila with pineapple). The server misheard garnish instructions and later said there was “no pineapple” — apparently meaning no juice — and offered alternatives. I chose orange, expecting juice, but the drink arrived with a slice of orange instead. We ordered appetizers; only one came, and the other arrived cold and much later than the entrees. My entree arrived before the starter, and overall it took about 45 minutes longer than expected — we didn't get our meals until around 10:30 p.m. To top it off, their card devices were malfunctioning, affecting nearby guests too. Small venue, slow and disorganized service, and overpriced food . Disappointing experience. and a waiter that has no idea whats going on. terrible valentines day dinner $200 dollars for 2 weirdly prepared drinks ,2 salads ( one with chicken added ) cold mash potatoes bad service and i still tipped 20 food quality is good... but the rest is def not worth the money

We ordered the wagyu steak, haricot vert and whipped potatoes. Everything was delicious with generous portions. We probably wouldn't sit outside again. Too noisy.
What a fun restaurant with great food, crowd and staff. Finally quality steakhouse that's a block from home. Hooray!
I've been a few times and it's amazing, but it is so incredibly loud in the hall room. The people next to us was a party of eight and they were screaming so it made for a bummer night. The bar on the other hand is a vibe and I highly recommend it.. Great Food and service!!
The restaurant is nicely located next to Venice boardwalk. Plenty of parking on the street as well as paying parking lots. The front entrance is pretty small and the hostesses is very nice but the space is tight. The bar is nice but unfortunately no cocktails. I was celebrating my birthday and the waiter was nice. They brought me a complementary dessert. My ribeye steak wS delicious the way I wanted it. A bit salty but tasted delicious. The fries were well done and crispy. The seating is tight in front of the bar. The sofa was not comfortable. The restaurant tables I front of the bar are close . The noise is high . Overall our experience was good .
Sigh, okay first the very good: Delicious food, the steaks melt in your mouth. The Crudo is fresh and flavorful. Servers are attentive and professional. The not good: the ambience. Way too overstimulating. They crammed our party of five into a four top so we were shoulder to shoulder. The lighting is too low and not flattering. Felt like we were in a haunted house. The noise level is very high, tho not much the can do about that. it's expensive, $24 for a Caesar salad was a bummer l especially when we are paying $80+per person for a steak. From everything I read, I expected something more elegant, it was closer to Chez Jay than Morton's. 🫤
