Not very friendly. Mocked me for asking if the cookies were fresh baked. As if it’s an unusual question for a bakery.

Ducked in to eyeball the place and try the fare and determine if they would be a good addition to my walking food tours in the downtown area and it was a total home run, here's why:
* Close to home and easy to add to the tour offering.
* Homemade empanadas, ham & cheese is my favorite!
* Homemade quiche cups, ham and cheese is my favorite!
* Excellent and varied choice of alfajores in house, SCORE!
* Small, quaint, cozy!
* Priced right.

Madam owner, when a customer comes into your store to buy something, you don't stay on the phone ignoring them, then apologize and say good morning and welcome. You learn education and also how to make your empanadas well because they stink.

Love Verocca for everything from empanadas to Venezuelan baked goods to custom orders. Currently they are temporary closed and undergoing a renovation. Excited for them to re-open.
