I’ve been here 3 Saturdays now, each time I’ve come in was progressively worse. First Saturday the bartender that was there was just completely dismissive and rude, everyone is allowed to have a bad day.
Second Saturday I came in she wasn’t behind the bar, I figured she was bringing drinks to a customer, no big deal, 5-10min later she realized that me and my friend are there acknowledged and greeted us, took our order, then proceeded to chat with some other customers for about 5 minutes before greeting us again and asking for our order again, I’m starting to see a pattern.
3rd Saturday tops then all, we literally left without ordering, the bartender was completely inebriated, on what I couldn’t tell you, but after 10 minutes with no acknowledgement and her just chatting we left and went across the street. I really dislike leaving reviews like this but this was just bad. I like the idea of this place as an alternative to Cagney’s when I don’t want their particular vibe

Never been there one of my friends of mines told about it, however he said it was very raciest I love playing pool but he was very right. I asked how they play and the rules they play bye because I play However , I play APA and bar rules. It’s unfortunate that people don’t like to lose and cause a problem and put it on me, u set the rules and u want to run to the bar tender and make it seem like im the problem because im black and u thought I couldn’t play. It’s a sad situation unfortunately but this is what u got to deal with. This racism is sad but dont waste your time going there but however u might not run into that if u dont play pool good or u dont play at all. Pay attention to the establishment please because they will make u out to be the problem unfortunately. U got to be aware fortunately where u go. I tryed to go back there and the owner came to me without asking what happened and told me to leave, be careful and be safe there, it’s one sided, trust and believe.

Great lil dive bar thats been there for years. Very affordable and the bartenders are very nice, ask for ivy she's great! They have a pool table, darts, one of those golf games, and the bartenders make food for everyone in a crockpot! They hold pool tournaments and poker tournaments as well! Only thing about the place is u can smoke inside other than that love the place!

Had a couple drinks and a burger. The atmosphere was excellent, an old school bar where you can have a drink, food, and catch a Heat, Dolphin, or Marlins game. Susie was my bartender and she was thoughtful, well versed, and extremely friendly. I appreciate the attention to detail getting my order just how I like it and bringing me drinks without having to ask, as it should be. Thank you to the staff at Welches for the experience. I am definitely going to frequent this diamond in the rough.

By Far the worse bar ive been to in Hollywood . Soon as you walk in smell Like a cigar lounge which is fine it’s a bar . When I decided to go order for a drink they ran out of the liquor I asked for ( cognac) they tend to give me the last of a bottle and said it’s no more for the night (confused) so I ask am I getting charged which was stated no . So i tend to move around the bar and spots someone and started talking to them let’s not state you can’t have an open tab . Which don’t make sense but das fine so as I’m talking to a person at the bar my receipt came and payed right then and there . Why don’t lady come and say why you not tipping her you brought drinks . Mind you I tipped the first time . So I get into a conflict with the stranger and after the convo she whispers that’s right tell him girl . So obviously they are some type of friends . Long story short as I’m talking to someone at the bar they are still going . The bar lady & friend ) so now when I say something back it was a problem . So now some older guy walk up to me while a dude behind him pulled out some type of weapon from his pocket. So now while I’m up asking who these people are telling me to leave . It’s supposed to been an “owner” so he decided to put his hands around my neck along with his side kick a choked me out while pushing me against walll . He lucky I didn’t draw my weapon due to self defense . I just let it go I just want to draw awareness to bars like this where they are racist and will try anything to get away with it . They lucky I didn’t press charges it sued the whole business . I was in no wrong or threatening to anyone . Whoever the old tall slim dude supposedly one of owners this who lawsuits and businesses get shut down . On top of that I have 25k followers & was giving company exposure but that all was ruined by staff .

Great late night dive .. JP and little Ali are awesome!! Came in on a Tuesday night,..they had poker...played some darts, pool, had a great time!!!! JP let us know about Monday night football...Wed Trivia, Karaoke every Thursday night... great drink specials as well. Live music every 3rd Sat of the Month...Great dive!!!
