While out on a delivery, I stumbled upon La Patrona, a Mexican bakery that instantly drew me in with its incredible aroma. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with the sweet scent of freshly baked treats and warm smiles from the friendly staff. Their selection is impressive. Everything from soft donuts and rich cakes to fresh bread and traditional cookies. Each item looks like it was made with care and love. You can tell this place takes pride in its baking. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. La Patrona is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Delicioso!!! 😋 Homemade and so fluffy ! We came all the way from Orlando to try it !! It’s worth the drive ♥️
This food has flavor, is well priced and the staff is always kind and welcoming. I have never had a bad experience here and always look forward to coming here. This is a family friendly, delicious and welcoming bakery. The only bakery in town that I will recommend.

Authentic Mexican bakery but get there early. It’s obvious the locals love it, the shelves were down to a minimum. The “conos rellenos” were fantastic! Delicious filling and flaky dough. Looking forward to our next visit.

The taste of all the products is good; but the employees who are supplying the display cases do not allow them to take the bread and in a rude manner, practically throwing it out because they want to be the first to finish their work, it is the second time they do that, it does not seem like the right way to herd as animals and not allowing them to finish grabbing our product. I hope they don't ignore this detail.

I've been a frequent patron of La Patrona Mexican Bakery for quite some time, and until today, I had never experienced anything less than stellar service. Unfortunately, that streak came to an end during my recent visit.
I was ready to check out when the woman at the register allowed another customer to skip ahead of me, despite the fact that she wasn't ready to check out. The cashier let this person continue shopping while I stood there waiting. When I finally spoke up, I was met with a shockingly rude attitude.
I expressed my disappointment, mentioning that I had never encountered such rudeness at La Patrona before. As I was leaving, the woman at the register yelled "bye" in a manner that felt more like "don't come back" than a friendly farewell. It was as if my presence was an inconvenience.
As an Afro-Mexican, I couldn't help but wonder if my appearance influenced this treatment. Unlike other customers, my family and I weren't greeted or apologized to for the inconvenience. This lack of courtesy was disheartening, especially considering that this behavior came from my fellow Mexicans.
It's truly disappointing to be treated in such a dismissive manner at a place I've long supported. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on ensuring that all customers feel welcome and valued. Until then, I’m unsure if I’ll return to La Patrona Mexican Bakery and I will make sure that I everyone I can not to support this bakery. Shameful!
