My wife loves Pollo Tropical, it meets the B's to us latinos criteria bueno, bonito, y barrato). Friendly staff, prompt and good quality chicken, roast pork, black beans, rice, yuca and maduros. Whenever we are on the road or she just doesn't feel like cooking...Pollo Tropical is the place to go.

For "fast" food this place is delicious ? A little pricey, but what isn't nowadays lol. Good is always fresh and has a homemade vibe. Excellent option when in a hurry! Staff is always friendly and the restaurant always seems very clean. Love this place!It does get packed so it can take a little while to get your food, but it's fresh to order so we think it's worth the wait. Hope this helps a little, best wishes everyone!

I have never had Pollo tropical before and I wont order pollo tropical again... my order was coconut shrimp and salad.. my husband had mouth surgery and can only eat soft food so I ordered sides of black beans and rice.. in my box was coconut shrimp on top of rice and a bowl ofblack beans. Shrimp was way over cooked, dried out and hard as rocks... had to pick coconut and fryings out of the rice.. it sure as hell wasnt worth 34 dollars!!!

A little on the hood side. Manager got upset at employee for giving to many sauces, in front of all the costumers she yelled at him and ripped the bag with sauces from his hands (belittling him) and continued to scream at him in front of all the costumers. Very unprofessional of her.
The attention received is horrible. It takes a little more humility and recognizing that you don't know what you are doing before treating someone badly as a customer.

Best Pollo Tropical I've been to. The cashier was very attentive. Then the person packaging the food and handing it to me. She was very quick and correct. The timing was generously quick. Food was good and how I asked for it. Over all my experience was great.
I like the chicken, I noticed the whole menu changed, looks like cuban sandwichs and a new thing.

I was looking forward to a decent "chicken" tropishop, but what I got was essentially a rice fest—95% rice, if you can believe it. And it's not even as if it was a delightful rice experience; the balance with the beans was completely off. The quality of the rice itself? Disappointing, to say the least—it had the consistency of clay. At this point, they might as well consider renaming themselves RICE Tropical because that seems to be all they're serving. This was not what I expected or paid for.
