I place my first delivery order in this place, and wanted to try the local sushi restaurants… I order 4 types or Sushi rolls, the taste was good, but the portion is very small for the price. I’m sushi lover, and i’ve been in many Sushi restaurants… I had a long time ago without receiving just 5 pieces for a roll.. That’s very weird and very small size… The regular Sushi comes in minimum 8 pieces or normally 10pcs you should give the advice that the price is for a Half roll. Looks like a sample… for around 20$ each one. Very expensive.

I ordered delivery. They didn't provide me with the sauces on the side. Or any sauces for that matter. I tried calling, you can't get through. Sushi is small. Not worth the money.

This place has gone downhill since new management took over, they seem not to care about the quality or quantity of their food. The rolls have shrunk in size but have increased in price? now I wouldn’t mind if I was receiving quality fish but you aren’t. I used to love this place & it hurts writing this review but after going in a few weeks ago to eat Crispy tuna rice & I revived BURNT rice & I kindly told the manager & he was looking at it like it their was nothing wrong with it I was upset, I never return food even if I received the wrong order because I work in the industry as well so I try not to give anyone a hard time but, that was just disrespectful. Whoever is writing & giving this place 5 stars & good reviews has to be fake profiles there’s just no way…

A lot of the lower-rated reviews seem to come from people who used to visit the restaurant before the change in ownership. It isn't terrible, but the changes in the restaurant are noticeable by previous regulars.

The food isn't bad at all, and the service is alright in my experience, but the prices are too high for what you get. Recently I ordered 2 rolls and an appetizer for lunch (Miami roll, Miami Heat roll, and the Krab Rangoons). These 3 items came up to about $45 before taxes, with the most expensive item being the Miami Heat roll which had jumped about 33% in price, from about $15 to $20, to the best of my recollection. It's hard to understand why an option that hasn't changed at all has increased in price that much in only a few years. I did really like the new Miami roll, though. I'd like if it came in a slightly larger portion, but I'm afraid of what that might do to the price.

I have yet to try the Peruvian menu items, but I intend to give them a shot. I just probably won't be visiting once a week like I used to.

Overall, the restaurant has its strengths, but the value for money might make it less appealing for regular visits. I know where the more critical reviews are coming from, because I'm coming from the same place, but I'm willing to give Sake Thai & Sushi another try.

Sake Thai & sushi in Homestead is truly a hidden gem! Every visit is a delight, thanks to the exceptional service and warm, family-oriented atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish.

We started our meal with their flavorful dumplings, edamame, and comforting miso soup, each dish was fresh and delicious. For sushi lovers, the Dragon Roll and Meat Lover Roll are must-tries! We paired our meal with hot tea and unsweetened iced tea, which complemented the meal perfectly.

Whether you're craving authentic Thai cuisine or incredible sushi, Sake Thai never disappoints. Conveniently located near Baptist Hospital Homestead, it's a fantastic spot for a relaxing and satisfying meal. If you're looking for delicious sushi, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be! We always look forward to coming back!

I went back today after years of not going. BIG MISTAKE!, the fish was not fresh it was de colored and smushy. The pad Thai was so bad you needed to drink a cup of water after you ate a spoon. The pad Thai was burnt and chewy I called and they would issue me a new one with the return of this one that arrived damage. The refund will take 5-6 days. This is ridiculous.

Terrible food, this restaurant used to be the best in the area but definitely they change everything for the worse. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and it was disgusting. I don’t know what happened to this place but definitely the good reviews are fake and old from the other management.

Pretty place, the food looks beautiful but way too salty. When we told the staff they said they get complaints for this all the time but the chef disagrees and keeps the food salty.

Also, ordered mild and got spicy.

Small portions with expensive price. Also the soups are very high on sodium content. Here in Homestead are much better alternatives for Japanese food.
