Good atmosphere, terrible service, food average. Went for lunch, food took over 1 hour to get to our table and our server ( I think his name is Ernesto) never apologized for the long wait and didn’t even approach our table while we were waiting to check in. We were a party of 3 and the restaurant was far from crowded. After flagging him down and asking what was taking so long, he replied “ there are 2 tickets in front of you”. That was it. They told us they do not have tap water so we were given a bottle of water which was a charge of $10. How do they wash produce if they don’t have tap? The server took the $10 bottle off the bill when I questioned the charge. All in all not a good experience for a 61 mile drive.
This was, without question, the scariest and worst restaurant experience our family has ever had.
Our young daughter was served a pasta dish that contained a large, sharp piece of glass. This is every parent’s nightmare. She could have swallowed it. She could have been seriously injured. We are still shaken thinking about how much worse this could have been.
What makes this even more disturbing is what happened after—we reached out multiple times by phone and email to report this, and have been met with complete silence. No response. No concern. No accountability.
Serving glass in a child’s meal is not a small mistake—it is a dangerous and unacceptable failure. Ignoring it afterward is even worse.
Parents deserve to feel safe when they take their children out to eat. Based on our experience, that basic expectation was completely broken here.
We will never return, and I strongly urge other families to think very carefully before dining here.
To start I want to say I love the scenery at schnebly’s have been going for years, but we visited the Redlander Restaurant for the first time for a girls night with my friends. We had the absolute worst server, Sebastian. We only ordered 4 items but it took an hour for the food to come out. We didn't even get our water to the table till after the food came out after multiple times of asking, an hour for water was ridiculous. When we asked for separate checks it took him another 20 mins to bring it out and he only brought the one check and charged us 20% gratuity. Fine, I accepted it and we paid it because we were ready to leave. But then a few days later I realized he charged and additional $31 of tip to our tab, after already applying an automatic charge of 20% gratuity. This is unethical and illegal to charge someone more money than they actually paid and the service was just plain awful.
The restaurant service is far too slow; despite having plenty of staff, we waited an hour for our food—and the restaurant was practically empty. The food isn't good; I don't think they even have a cook. The only thing that arrived quickly was the bill, which appeared in just five minutes.
Food is bad. We did not enjoy it. Fish was overcooked and tough, tuna was not fresh. Service slow. Beautiful place though.
2 fricking hours waiting and our food didn't came. Awful service. The table next to us still had food from previous customers, and it stayed the same the whole 2h we were there... and prob more. The waitresses were all teens running amok worry free and chit chatting. Owners should keep a close eye on this or... 😬
Sadly this beautiful location failed to deliver for a birthday celebration. After one hour food hadn't arrived and no apology was provided. Thoroughly disappointed and irate we planned to leave but then they packaged the food to go. Later we realized that the food was terrible as well. The staff was inexperienced and useless
I had read the negative reviews but this place is so beautiful, I wanted to come for my birthday. Terrible idea. Despite a reservation, we were ignored at the hostess stand. The servers saw us and made eye contact and kept ignoring us until we finally stopped someone.
We were finally sat and a dusty table. There is “no tap water” they charge $5 for water. The menu is extremely limited and the food was mediocre. Service took forever.
It’s a shame because the space is so nice but I will not be coming back.
Great atmosphere... food good brewery very cool as well.
Got married there 16 years ago there (we were the first or 2nd couple to marry there when they opened) and went to eat at the restaurant for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not good. Food is very expensive(more than a 5-star restaurant at Brickel) and not good at all. Menu is weird, nothing really appealing and taste is awafull. The place still beautiful and I believe they are really strong on the wines but not the food. It's a shame bc w that place(location in the midst of Redlands, no competition, differentiated environment in Miami...), they could really have something good going on there and make lots of money... Don't need a lot.. it was a sat night. With all of that, have a killer restaurant, live comfortable music, good environment and boom but...Service also takes forever(and the place was kind of empty). Should have looked at the reviews before

I celebrated my birthday here and everything was delicious. The wine was delicious as well & very beautiful scenery
Their idea of a $30 caesar salad was a plate ( no bowls) of lettuce piled high, a few store bought coutons and shredded cheese, dressing and protien on the side. No way to mix it together. Thats not how a Caesar salad is served. The shrimp were good. Only Avacado white wines (plus 1 Lycee). Very odd. My 4th and last time there. They must have new management or kitchen staff. The server took over an hour after we ordered to get our food. Overall swrvicewas terrible, but thats a well known fact
If I could leave zero stars I would. First time there this evening and we were sitting for 20mins without a server ever approaching us. Meanwhile, other tables that were sat after us were getting their orders taken and one even had drinks. We spoke to someone inside, a lady, Im guessing the manager? Anyway, she didn’t really seem to care that we decided to leave. Wasted gas and time. Will never try going there again.
