This bar was great. It had a good vibe, friendly staff, and a nice view of the river where you could watch boats passing by and you can see Monkey Island. We were a party of two and came around 2 pm on a Saturday. The place was busy but still had tables and counter seats available. You can pick your own seat after ordering at the bar. I’m a local lived here my whole life haven’t went to the new monkey bar since they switched to pizza instead of the old seafood. I was very disappointed with the service the bartender was not very friendly. They got my name wrong an I didn’t get my food for awhile it’s not the traditional restaurant if that’s what your looking for… If you wanting to just get a bite an look at the monkeys it’s perfect just don’t expect traditional service you have to order everything...
I have never actually eaten here just drank a lot, but the bloody Maria's are awsome. Just feel like they are really expensive for the amount you get. They do have truck parking as long as u aren't visiting on the weekend when everyone is trying to get there boats in.
