The website says it's open from 5-7:30 Fridays. It is not. Been here once before and the food was great. Drove 45 minutes to find out they are not open. Maybe mention in your answering machine that you are no longer open on Fridays. Could have saved some time.
Sally greeted us with her smile. Our first time, but not the last. Great service, very clean, and good food.

I tried to leave a Google review, but was unable to. So here I am, because people should know. We decided on a whim to try this place out. I am so glad we did!!! Their burgers are amazing!! Myself and my parents all had one. Definitely not frozen burgers!! Highly, highly recommend trying them out! Will be back again!!
The food here? Absolutely incredible. Every dish tasted like it was crafted with intention and passion—rich flavors, perfect textures, and just the right balance in every bite. You can tell they take real pride in what comes out of the kitchen. It’s the kind of meal that makes you pause and savor.
From the appetizers to the main course, everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a place where every plate hits, but this one nailed it.
Also worth mentioning—the woman who greeted us was incredibly kind. Not overbearing, just warm, welcoming, and clearly cares about the experience people have here. That small touch of genuine hospitality really tied it all together.
If you’re looking for a place with top-tier food and a comfortable, friendly vibe, this is it.

Ms Sally & Chef Mike are so kind, their positive energy practically radiates out the door! Never mind the food - you can tell so much love is put into every bite! Ms Sally takes the time to chat with her guests, and is absolutely genuine in wanting to get to know everyone.
The place is so cute and small, but I have a feeling we were lucky to get a table.
My husband and I were only in town for a car, or this would be our new weekend brunch spot!

First time my wife and I went for lunch she had the ribbon special It was good flavor was good portion was bad there wasn't of me to bread ratio like when you see a Reuben or pastrami sandwich the meats is overwhelming this was very underwhelming If you have to raise the price raise the price but give enough meat for the bread I had the shrimp and grits she asked me if I wanted to make it loaded and I asked her well does that make it cheese grits with bacon on top she wasn't sure she read the menu and she says no it comes on top this is so won't be cheese grits so the grits are very underwhelmed they're just a standard and grits for shrimp cooked great but it needed more It was very blah lots of salt pepper. I wish there was an option to make the grits cheese grits I would have done that that probably would have helped with the flavor we're traveling through the area and the reason why we went here is it had good reviews on Google maps We didn't try anything else I wish the lady who was our waitress knew more We asked her like is this popular new people like it she was a little not sure like maybe the owner should have her sit down and try the dishes so she has an idea of what she's selling

Socos House of Eats is a true Southern treasure! I tried The Trooper, the Filet Breakfast special and The Egg Bowl—and every bite was better than the last. The filet was tender and perfectly seasoned, the egg bowl was hearty and flavorful, and The Trooper hit that perfect comfort food spot. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, welcoming, and made you feel like family. Easily one of the best breakfast spots in Homosassa. Don’t miss it!

This is our new favorite breakfast place. There are a number of breakfast places around but this one stands Head and shoulders above the rest. It's not much to look at on the outside but it has character on the inside. This is a Mom and pop style eatery. I would suggest getting the strawberry cream cheese, French toast or any of the pancakes. You will be very happy with those choices. They are open for dinner on Fridays. It's worth going online and checking out their menu. We have been very impressed with the quality of the servers during our meals at soco's.
