Picked the wrong place to go. I would rate the food but it never was ordered. The sever kept coming to the table asking if we needed anything and blaming the kitchen. When we finally spoke to a manager it was apparent that our food had not been ordered, and at the point we left. The manager made a comment about how the server had multiple complaints and asked of we were going to leave a review. She seemed more interested in cashing out the rest of the group than the fact that we never ate. I was in astonishment at the poor customer service from the manager, I don't think she ever apologized, if so it was insencire and not meaningful. I would rate the food but it never came.

The waitress was terrible kept talking and standing at the bar. A bird swooped and took our sandwich right off the table. Never again will we go there and I definitely not recommend it to anyone!

Went midday on a Monday for the solar eclipse. The place was empty. The service was good and the food was amazing. Lovely breeze and the umbrella by the water. I had shrimp cake and grits and friends had fish tacos with grouper appetizer.Parking: There were a lot of signs about the parking situation but we asked the front they said it was fine but apparently sometimes they charge on the weekends. Just ask.

Overall, Jimmy Guana’s embodies the spirit of a Margaritaville with its vibrant atmosphere, beachfront location, talented bartenders, live music, and bar food. It’s a place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy yourself.whether with family or for drinks. . Their salads are particularly noteworthy, for their generous portions and fresh ingredients. For breakfast served till 11am., there was a standard hotel buffett that ran about $13 with drink. Friendly fun staff keep very reasonable priced drinks coming and locals as well as out of towners and resort guests come to the bar during the day and night. Beautiful water views, water park view and breezy deck makes for good people watching or choose indoor seating for AC.Kid-friendliness: Family resort fullnof kids

Grilled Grouper was good. Sauteed Shrimp was more of cream stew.
this place never disappoints.. until today... me and my friend waited forever for our lunch . my friend ordered a cocktail, took over 15 mins to get it.. we were there over an hour. checked my phone , got there at 12:58. its now after 2, still no food .. waiter said they were very busy, (as friend had an exray appointment) we left, put money on table for her drink... hardly anyone inside, as it was too windy to eat outside for us.. and the least amount of people I ever saw outside.. so not sure whats going on, but iam thinking... cook quit??? dont know, gotta step it up over there.. this is usually a great place.. dont screw it up..

Today, my friend and I went to Jimmy Guana's for lunch. We have been there many times before. First, it was too windy to be outside near the water so we told the host that we would like to move indoors. The restaurant wasn't very crowded being it was a Monday around 1 pm. We went inside and our waiter took our drinks order. My friend had water and I ordered a frozen drink. He came back probably about 20 minutes or so later to take our food order. The frozen drink took about 30 minutes to arrive at the table. We waited 45 minutes more and still had no food. We asked Tony, our waiter if it would be coming soon? He said that the kitchen was very busy. After waiting one hour, we decided to leave. I left money for my drink on the table. We were very ?.

Second-level waterfront dining, incredible food, and strong drinks with tropical flare. What's not to love? After a dozen visits, I can say with certainty that Jimmy's is one of the best casual seafood restaurants in Indian Rocks Beach. The service is always prompt and orders accurate. The views from the deck over the water and mangroves is wonderful. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp and gumbo. My family loves the burgers, too. Bonus: you can arrive by boat and dock at the public slips just south of the restaurant. Be prepared for many families and kids as the splash park is only a few steps away. Great place!Kid-friendliness: Kids come and go freely in swimsuits and bare feet between the restaursnt and adjoining splash park. The restaurant provides paper iguana hats for kids. Super cute and laid back. Non-fussy menu the whole family will love.

We stayed at the hotel and came in for the breakfast. Based on the info we were given (in writing) the meal was $10.95 per adult and we had a free kid voucher. The server said it was $13.95 and that the pricing has been outdated for a while, they are a separate entity, and the manager has been telling the hotel. (That’s not a good look for a partnership 50 feet between each other.) The 2nd issue was the food.. It was garbage. It seemed to be pre made quality food that you would get in a “breakfast included” hotel, not a nice hotel that you are spending a good bit of money on, in addition to paying for breakfast as an extra cost.

Always a fun atmosphere, live music when we go. Outside deck has a view of the water. Good service, drinks were good also. We have been here several times and usually bring visitors we have with us.
