Pipo & Bettys Bakery

I been here a couple times and overall had mostly good experiences. It is a bakery primarily and that’s what I would keep coming back for, are the pastries.

The coffee is so so. I tried a shaken espresso this past time and something about it tasted really off, not sure if it was too strong or burnt or what the issue was but I didn’t finish it because it made my stomach hurt. There were also espresso crumbs at the bottom of the bottle which I have never had happen in that kind of drink before.

But again, the pastries are the star here. I’ve tried their croissants and enjoyed them, and got a turnover this last time and loved it.

The shop is super cute and gets real busy. It’s not super big so the line builds up and there’s not much room to sit or move around. But it’s quite literally across the street from the beach so a prime location.

Back after only a few short months since July. Always make time to stop here. Finally found the punch cards! Wishing I knew sooner, frequent flyers here! Very excited to fill it up and keep trying all the fun seasonal flavors! The butter beer iced late was amazing as expected! Thank you as always! See you in July!

The baristas lack good morning cheer! People from out of town are here on vacation, enjoying life, please be more welcoming. I love The grove coffee shop down the street,
that is very welcoming.

I got two pastries in the morning, expecting them to be fresh and tasty. Both were stale and below average on the taste. Disappointing. When you come to a bakery in the morning and pay $5 for one pastry you expect it to be freshly baked. Was not the case, unfortunately. Will not come again. What's the point of a croissant from a bakery when it's couple days old?? It should be baked that morning. I can get stale croissants from grocery store for a fraction of a price. Do better.

This place is amazing and so are the workers! Shout out to Trace who helped us today, great job! And also, shout out to Riley who was working on Monday, Columbus Day. The line was long and a rude customer was complaining about the wait even though she was working as hard as possible. She did an excellent job, and kept calm with a very demanding line. I am sorry that someone was unappreciative of your hard work. Thank you for being here and serving up great food. We appreciate you!

Hands down one of my favorite local spots! Riley and Chloe were excellent at recommending pastries and coffees. We got a cinnamon roll and a snickerdoodle latte, we will definitely be back soon!
