Pipo & Bettys Bakery

This bakery is charming, their beverages and baked goods are beautiful, and their staff is great. If you’re looking for a nice coffee or tea and a muffin/croissant/scone/etc., they’re a great place to stop by. The reason I’m unable to give a 5 star rating is that their business hours seem to be a bit inconsistent (closed this past Monday with no way to know unless you’ve already arrived) and, of the 3 times I have tried to get a quick breakfast here (twice this week and once during a previous stay in the area) they’ve been sold out of breakfast sandwiches and only offer baked goods, which again, are delicious, but not everybody wants a sugary start to their day. If they put a bit more thought into consistency and into preparing enough product to last more than the first 2 hours of business, they’d have my full backing. It bummed me out to have to walk 15 mins down the street to grab an egg sandwich when Pipo’s is just so lovely and is (in my opinion) more deserving of the business.

We arrived on a Sunday at 10am. Semi busy but space is limited. Heard great things about the croissant breakfast sandwiches.
They were out of breakfast sandwiches! Only options were muffins and a few other items. Did order a cafe Con Leche, mediocre at best. Service was good but nothing spectacular. Disappointing considering the reviews.

Coffee was fresh and delicious. Fun selection of pastries and several quiches, we had the vegetarian one at it was flaky and full of flavor. GREAT spot to get coffee then walk across the street to the beach.

Fantastic butter croissant! I'd go back again just for the croissants!! Oddly though my receipt on my statement said crabby bills I almost disputed it.... I realized it's next to crabby Bill's and that may have been why. I thought my card was being used at crabby bills

Ordered coffee, smoothie and breakfast sandwiches 5 of our 10 days in IRB. 3/5 experiences were better than good. I would just suggest, slow down at the register, listen to the customers order, repeat it back. Orders messed up twice. One we never got after waiting 20 minutes. There seems to be a breakdown between order placed-order prepared-order delivered and checked off.
