“Had a wonderful time tonight while we were there. We were greeted with a smile and taken to a table almost immediately. The atmosphere was great and a bowl of water for our dogs was brought to the table. Our severs name was Kenny and she was fantastic. She recommended a drink called The Painkiller. Totally loved that drink. I ordered the oysters and was surprised by the size of them. Very good and filling. Kenny was fun to talk to and happy to be around. She definitely made our first stop in the area a pleasant and memorable one. Thank you Kenny.“

“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

The Cuban sandwich was amazing and the Roasted chicken men so flavorful. Oxtail was good also. My son loved the beef empanadas. Staff was amazing and so helpful. “Don’t come here, don’t eat here and don’t converse with the staff. The place is dirty, the food is awful and the people are rude! If you believe any of this, then you are missing out on this not so hidden gem in Florida, by way of New York! 13 of us had lunch there!!! I wish I could give them 13 stars! “Still Excellent After all These Years Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at Café Largo. It was Wednesday and the place only had a couple of other tables full—one was a large birthday party. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Our server, the wife of the couple that owns the place, was very sweet and helpful. The food was all delicious. We shared an order of the appetizer scallops and the foie gras. For mains we had a fantastic veal chop and delicious lamb chops and a couple branzino. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate mousse, the ice caffe glace and their homemade ice cream--all wonderful. It’s nice to have an option for some excellent wines. The Margaux was very good, but the Pomerol was even better. Café Largo is an excellent choice for any kind of special event dinner. I hope it won’t be too long until our next visit.“

“Nice restaurant by the sea. We ate on the terrace (it was sports day on TV so perhaps it was a little too loud for us!). We took seafood dishes with shrimp...the ones with coconut were excellent. Average sweet. Very good side dishes.
