First of all this place is on a dead end road. Was cool getting there even though I thought it was the wrong area at first. The people are very nice. I asked for some shrimp from the market to be set aside for me to pick up at the food truck and they had it in the freezer. I was a little disappointed in the food though. The blackened shrimp, though perfectly seasoned were a tad over done, that's fine but the rice and beans really had no flavor. The coleslaw was not overly...
What a great find very unique experience. This place is very laid back, and your food comes straight off the boat. While we were waiting for our meals, we went thru the fish market. The crew and owner were prepping and cooking crayfish. These people are so friendly they gave us a tray of crayfish to sample. There is also a small boat ramp next door.
We believe in supporting local businesses, so we come here frequently. The food and service are absolutely incredible. I had the fried grouper sandwich this time, and my wife and son had grouper bites and filet with fries. So delicious and fresh. The fries are thin cut and amazing. I recommend stopping by and enjoying your meal right next to the Withlacoochie Rivir. Also, make sure you check out the fish market. So fresh.
