We also had a bad experience, went in for a breakfast sandwich and got yelled (very mean lady) at because they were too busy. And it was during their breakfast time, 10 minutes before they changed over to lunch.

Im a big boy that eats a light weight and has never left hungry or disappointed. We love the Brooklyn Deli, Reva and the friendly local staff at Brooklyn Deli.

Ive been a regular customer to Brooklynn Deli in Fountain Square since i could barely talk or walk with my grandma. Im 25 years old now. Today was my last day. I came in at 3:02pm when they close at 4pm and was forced to take my food to go by “REVA”. I now have to eat my hot meatball sub in a hot car with no ac because they want to rush when they close at 4pm. Right after we left at 3:14 pm she locked the door behind us and refused 2 other customers. When businesses have a set time to close they shouldn’t close an hour before their posted time. The amount of rude comments Reva made in the 5 minutes i stood there waiting for my sub was extremely unnecessary and uncalled for. — at Brooklyn Deli Too.

I don't just give bad reviews for no reason.

The sandchies were alright. Nothing outstanding. However, if you're not a regular here, expected to be treated as so. We were not greeted as we walked in. The lady at the front gave my relative and I so much attitude I was stunned. This was after 2 so no lunch rush or anything going on, as more regulars walk in for the next 30 mintues, all the employees greet them by their names and have this big smile on their faces, and nothing towards us. All I get is looks. It was extremely uncomfortable eating our food there, but there wasn't much else in the area and I was right across the street so I figured I'd stop in here for my first time. Definitely will be my last time. These guys clearly love their regulars, and that's totally cool. I'm used to that around this county.

I think I had the best sandwich ever, but I did feel slightly judged by the person behind the counter. I didn't know any of the food items and have dietary restrictions, but when inquiring about certain things, I was talked down to a little bit. Absolutely lovely place though and the experience really wasn't bad at all.

Eating out in this county is really becoming disappointing. Tried this local spot, wanted to like it, but the operation was sketch. When I say sketch, I'm talking... we watched them heat meatballs up in a Styrofoam cup in the microwave, put it on the bread, top with cheese and put back in the microwave. Not sure about anyone else, but I'd prefer not to eat zapped styrofoam. The specialty sub was fine, but you can make a sub just as good at home. Buy pepper relish and you are set. Sadly, it's not worth a second visit.
