The Cove Resort and Pub

We actually found this place accidentally while trying to waste some time and get a bite while waiting on a airboat ride appointment. We arrived before opening and were prepared to wait in the parking lot, but were invited in by the super friendly staff. We loved it so so much! It's a little hidden gem. Decorated adorably, great atmosphere, staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing!

This place is not on the water, where you can see the water while you eat. You can however walk down to Tsala Apopka lake. With all the Spanish moss and cypress knees, it is absolutely beautiful. Their is a playground just off the outside eating area. This makes it very convenient for families. This was our first time at the Cove, so we called ahead. Right away, the hostess was very friendly and accommodating. She told me she was the one I spoke to earlier. Our waiter was very polite, attentive, and helpful, navigating us through the menu. The smoked fish dip was good. It is mild. And we had the oinkers as our second appetizer. Sweet BBQ'd pulled pork over chip. They were an unexpected delight. We got the Florida Fat Boy burger. It was beautifully cooked, and beautifully messy. I was able to break the fried egg over my fries. Got lucky there. We also got the black bean burger. I don't usually get the black bean burger unless I am at Chili's. But I recommend this burger. It was a preformed party. And they obviously did not make it on the premises. But it was a high quality patty. Weather you get there by auto or airboat, I highly recommend The Cove Resort and Pub

Follow the driveway to an outstanding hidden experience… delish food like the wings, salmon asian ginger salad, reuben, burgers - and the floors are beautiful and clean in the rustic bar and eating area. Bathrooms spotless!! These servers and cooks are energetic with big smiles also serving any beverage you wish, true old Florida landscape with outdoor patio and at the end area a play-set for tots! The sound of airboats makes you want a ride and the RVs parked nearby in trees - I think I need one as I would love to eat at the Cove Resort & Pub daily. Seriously. Also rentals of cabins like the ‘Love Shack’! Bored, tired of same ole eating out stuff—you owe it to yourself to get in the car and TREAT yourself!! Reasonable prices for GREAT food … you will be writing a review like this one. 100 gold stars!⭐️

I really enjoy the food and the staff are all great. My rating would of been a 5 star but was surprised by the two different prices. Cash vs credit. At gas stations I will run out of gas before I stop at one that charges like this. I will have to make a decision next time I have the urge to go to the Cove. Also it would of been nice to be warned about it prior to ordering.

Great food today at The Cove, food and service were all amazingly good! Had the Quesadilla burger and it was truly a unique, flavorful experience. Just an amazing burger. Great beer selection, fantastic food and service (thank you Red)... can't wait to return! Oh and don't forget to irder the chocolate cake for dessert!

If you go for a burger and they ask you how you want it; Don't fret. They don't care what you say and give you a well done burger with literally everything you don't want on it and eventually come back to give you a condiment bottle. Fries cost extra if you don't want potato chips. $52 bucks before tip for two sandwiches and sodas.

First time at restaurant. Saw them advertise on Fox 35 news in Florida so we went there for lunch. I ordered the smoke wings. Very disappointed, the wings were not Jumbo as advertised. The wings were very over cooked. No seasoning put on wings, very bland. My wife ordered the pulled pork bbq sandwich. The sauce on the sandwich was very spicy and with a hot dang. Wife did not enjoy them. The French fries were very good. The coleslaw was good. Tean also had a good flavor. The waitress did a great job getting our order and checking on us. If you pay by credit card you will be 3% more then cash payment.
