Service was so slow in drive-thru. I ended up pulling out of the line after sitting 10 minutes after ordering. They didn't seem to know how to park cars with big orders . Will not be back

Ice cream is good, but ridiculously expensive. I got a little baby blizzard, and it was over $4.00. 😳

Feb 1st 2025 at 2:31pm my husband and I ordered 2 blizzards he had oreo and I had ordered a oreo fudge brownie. 10min later I came back to the drive through because I had remembered my newborn was allergic to chocolate since I'm breastfeeding. I asked the worker (causcaian very thin brown hair in a bun woman late 20s to early 30) if she could exchange for another (since it was not long since I went through and I had not eaten the almost melted blizzard) she said no, why cant you trade with him (my husband) I said he has oreo, beside the point why would she want him to have something he wouldnt like. She was beyond nasty with her attitude. Though I explained my reason for coming back. She continued to have an attitude though I kept my composure not retaliating back at her, I didn't see why she kept pointing out that other places she went to don't do exchanges for things when she asks. But she kept telling lies such as no exchanges, no refunds, not having any leadership phone numbers. since they're in a restaurant business it just comes with the industry to exchange and refund, satisfy the customer. She had an attitude saying that's a you! problem after I said my husband has oreo its still chocolate. and she continued to say things that were lies such as she doesn't have the numbers for the corporate or district, regional, store manager. She said she was a manager and the the store manager after I had asked for someone above her. I told her I don't know Why she is being rude to me though I was not yelling nor with an attitude. She even said they take it out their paycheck and that if she does it for me she'd have to do it for everyone. Which made no sense since I was the only one in the drive thru at the time. This debate went on for 10mins even though it could've been a simple 2 mins. She even denied me a refund. So after 10min in the drive thru she decided with a very nasty attitude to say fine! What do you want! I said a caramel blizzard. She grabbed the one I had and brought another. Before I could say have a nice day she slams the window shut and walked away. Now I see why people prefer Baskin Robbins. I don't know Why she was so rude over something of a simple request. I was not coming at her in any type of way. But she was coming at me. And yes I feel she would have done my request nicely if I wasn't a black woman. This service was repulsive and I hope the next customer that makes a mistake in ordering has better luck. Though they shouldn't have to hence the meanings of customer service and restaurant industry which I've worked both.

I recently discovered my love for ice cream, and Dairy Queen has quickly become my go-to spot! I was never really big on ice cream before, but now I can’t get enough of their Blizzards. Oh my goodness, they're absolutely delicious! I've tried several flavors, but my top three favorites have to be the Royal New York Strawberry Cheesecake, the Brownie Batter, and most recently, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard. Seriously, every single bite is packed with peanut butter cup goodness!

I appreciate that the Blizzards are consistently made well and have a reliable taste, but my visit to the Inverness location needs some improvement in that area. Unfortunately, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard I was handed was already melting, which was very strange and unlike any experience I've had before at Dairy Queen. I didn't get to enjoy it like I typically would, as it wasn't as frozen and creamy as I expect from a Blizzard.

Additionally, it seems that this location could benefit from better employee training on patience and customer service. The employee at the counter was a bit pushy and seemed more eager for me to leave than to assist, which detracted from my overall experience.

On a positive note, I do love pairing my Blizzard with the pretzel sticks and queso cheese from their two-for-five menu—it's the perfect little fill-up! And if you’re a rewards program fan, the app is a must! You can earn points for free food—250 points get you a free mini Blizzard, which is just the right size since they’re so indulgent.

Despite these setbacks, I still can’t get enough of Dairy Queen's tasty treats and look forward to trying their Blizzards again in the future—hopefully with a bit more consistency! 🍦❤️

I work 4 minutes away, it's takes my whole 30 minute lunch to get melted ice cream and a chicken bastket? Works busy now I can't take time to eat.
