I read several negative reviews but figured I would give it a chance anyway, as long as it wasn't anything like the old buffet. My mother and I had a horrible case of food poisoning the last time we had eaten at the buffet that lasted several days. We went there tonight wanting to give it a chance. The menu is minimal and based on their website, it said unlimited salad bar and yeast rolls. We loved those yeast rolls with some honey butter. There are no yeast rolls, how sad. The salad bar is the bare minimums in order to call it a salad bar. Iceberg lettuce, the carrots were browning, green peppers, onions, black olives, cheese, egg and the usual toppings. Ruby Tuesday's salad bar is a couple more bucks but it has a lot more to offer. The steak prices were about the same as Outback - we did not order the steak. The waitress we had was very nice and attentive but that's all the place had going for it.

Huge golden corral fan. Ad very misleading showing picture from when it was a corral. Major disappointment! Waited 45 min for cheeseburgers(place not even halve full) that were burnt on dry Texas toast, while I had my one bowl off the anemic salad bar.I could have went to a steak house or even ruby Tuesday's and been satisfied for the price.Unfortunately as it is this is a major miss.

OMG. Yuck. I ordered sirloin tips well done. When my food arrived the meat was medium rare and the rice was under cooked. My son ordered fish. It was muddy and there was a hair in his food. The Mac and cheese was blah. We will never return.

Unfortunately disappointing. Though it’s “by Golden Corral” do not go in with any expectations of similarity besides it being the old building. Interior and decor was nice. Waitress was great. Negatives were the inattentive staff at the front were too busy talking amongst each other about unrelated issues to work between each person of my party ordering , making it a longer than necessary process to the point where it just became annoying. Salad bar is one trip only unless you pay for unlimited ??. The food is ok, however if they’re trying to compete with outback, Applebees, or chilis they aren’t going to do very well. The food was priced like a steakhouse however the quality wasn’t there. I’d rather have the Golden Corral back. I was really looking forward to the opening and quite frankly it was a disappointment

I don't recommend ever eating here. I can't even begin to explain what happened tonight, there were so many things...the whole experience was bad. When a cockroach climbed onto my arm from the table, we got up and left.

Highway setting conveys that pedestrian comforts aren't particularly valued in this mean environment.Ugly parking foreshadows the rest of the unfortunate downward trajectory this place offers.One stands in a drop-off line that's strangely unwelcoming and curiously stressful like weighing luggage at an airport check-in.Next, you commit to your beverage choice and get the joy to carry it yourself. Cheap red plastic unbreakable beverage glasses and questionable cleanliness.Then, you hunt for a table and grab it. Notice weird customers. Just look at their make-up -- it was terrible. Now you're within the realm of the leviathan. Notice the twisted flesh of tortured souls clanging cheap silverware for the lord of the labyrinth to bring out more fried shrimp to gorge upon.What's the next soul-shredding delight within this portal to a further realm of grotesque dining experience?Angels to some. . .Demons to others. . .Assorted grime to all. . .Didn't see any rats.God forbid you find your way to the washroom to clean your hands. You'll be sorry. Dingy. Older toilets. No paper towels.Notice more grime in small places like chair crevasses. Note children touching everything. Note dirty carpet. Note the waitress sweeping the floor by your table.Urghhh....Would it theoretically matter if we liked the mashed potatoes? The employees were actually kind and terrific. They're not the problem in any way..

The food was really good! You could choose from the variety of food trays they had - literally anything! They also had ice cream.
