Los Compadres Mexican Grill

Was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. I ordered the small guacamole, 3 hard shell tacos with rice and a side of beans. My husband ordered the pick 2 (chicken enchilada and a beef burrito with rice and beans) we also ordered 2 large house margaritas. The food was delicious, prepared and presented beautifully. Our waiter, Rigoberto was wonderful. He took our order, brought the food out in a timely manner, checked on us but did not hover. Overall, a wonderful meal and evening.

They brought a cart to the table to make us fresh guacamole exactly how we wanted it! It was delicious. As for the food itself it was well priced for what it was and very flavorful. Will definitely be making a return visit

Food was okay. Chips and salsa were good. Chicken tacos were dry. Fish tacos were good. A little pricey for what you get. We will eat there again.

Food is great. Servers are friendly, drinks are made well. And the kicker- they will make fresh guacamole dip right at your table! Great local place, and karaoke on Tuesday nights

really hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience was genuinely awful. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed irritated that customers were even there. Almost no one smiled, basic friendliness was nonexistent, and several staff members came across as rude and unwelcoming.
The food was disappointing too — it tasted and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp far too long. Fresh was definitely not the word I’d use. For a Mexican restaurant, where flavor and freshness matter, this was a huge letdown.
The one bright spot in the entire experience was our waitress, Ney. She was the only person who actually smiled, was kind, attentive, and made an effort to give good service. If not for her, this review would probably be even worse. She deserves recognition because she was carrying the experience by herself.
Unfortunately, one good employee can’t outweigh an overall bad experience. Between the rude atmosphere, poor service from most of the staff, and food that seemed old, I don’t see myself coming back.

Always love Los Compadres. It’s one of those spots that just stays consistent and real every time you walk in. Nothing feels forced or watered down, just straight up authentic food and good people.

The tamarind agua fresca is next level. Perfect balance of sweet and tangy, super refreshing, and honestly the best I’ve had anywhere in Citrus County. I end up thinking about it after I leave.

Food always hits too. Fresh, flavorful, and you can tell it’s made with care. And don’t skip the guacamole lady. Seriously. Watching it get made fresh right in front of you just adds to the whole experience and it tastes way better because of it.

If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. It’s one of those places you go once and it turns into a regular spot real quick.

My taco was very wet, greasy and my casidia was spicy and I could not eat it. I have a very sensitive stomach and rarely do mexican.The other two people in my party liked it.

Take side Guaca was good. Service was show. The salsa was not that good. Must recent Pina loca was not as good as last time.
