Cute little local place to stop in and eat if your in town or just passing by. Food was decent and service was fine. I just personally wouldn't recommend the broccoli & Cheddar soup but everything else we tried was decent.
My wife encourages me to meet my buddies at the Hen House Cafe because she says it's far less expensive than a psychotherapist. If she detects that the “blues” is creeping in (these days usually due to what's happening worldwide) she says, “Don't you think you ought to go to the Hen House?” I'm always in a great mood when I return home. The social interaction is a life-saver for this 85-year-old Air Force veteran and retired geoscientist.
