Edit: ownership has changed. The place is now AllyJ's, another ice-cream business that was across the street from Pinecones. The icecream was good, you get a good serving for the price, but the service was not the same. We were not greeted when we entered. Not sure if the girl behind the counter was having a bad day but in an ice-cream shop or in customer service overall, it helps to be in a pleasant, more upbeat mood. Initially, I gave a full 5 stars to this business but I had to redo my rating.

We are so happy we found this ice cream parlor! I didnt catch the name of the employee, but he was enthusiastic and very personable. The specialty items are a good amount and reasonably priced. We ordered the Pink Cadillac off the specialty board but we will definitely be back to try the other ones. The ice-cream tastes great! I noticed that there were even sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan options that didn’t seem boring. I love the nod to Elvis and the retro-themed ice cream parlor look with antique posters and radio flyer bicycles. The ambiance is perfect and makes for a wonderful experience for adults and kids alike!

Im so bummed out about this cute ice cream shop. It just sold to a new owner and they brought a different brand in. It’s so different, the menu doesn’t have the cool ice cream concoctions it use to, the ice cream they carry now doesn’t have great flavors. This place was so good and downtown! I don’t understand why someone would buy a great business and completely change it.

Went in this afternoon and they had very few flavors available. Over half the freezers were empty!

Literally saw roaches crawling on the counters and the staff just not caring and ignoring it even when i said something., the owner is lying if you don't believe me go in there yourselves

The ice cream delicious really sad they did away with their cookies and brownies. Those were the best.

Pinecones is awesome. They carry Hershey's brand ice cream and offer a lot of creations. Super yummy. My favorite is the coffee house cookies n cream or Ghram Central Station.

While the ice cream is of phenomenal quality, the staff are some of the most intelligent; courteous, and interesting people I've ever met.
