Edit: ownership has changed. The place is now AllyJ's, another ice-cream business that was across the street from Pinecones. The icecream was good, you get a good serving for the price, but the service was not the same. We were not greeted when we entered. Not sure if the girl behind the counter was having a bad day but in an ice-cream shop or in customer service overall, it helps to be in a pleasant, more upbeat mood. Initially, I gave a full 5 stars to this business but...
Im so bummed out about this cute ice cream shop. It just sold to a new owner and they brought a different brand in. It’s so different, the menu doesn’t have the cool ice cream concoctions it use to, the ice cream they carry now doesn’t have great flavors. This place was so good and downtown! I don’t understand why someone would buy a great business and completely change it.
We visited pinecone ice cream parlor 4 times while on vacation. It was the BEST! They had so many flavors to choose from. They allowed us to try as many samples as we wanted. They have the friendliest staff. Overall a 10/10 experience.
