Salty Dogs Steamer and Bar

The peel and eat shrimp are out of this world! Pulled pork Tator skins and loaded specialty potatoes rock. Our server Kayla was wonderful & provided exceptional service. Can’t wait to try everything else. We will def be back! ☺️

Our server was on top of it. The atmosphere was ok but It was a little difficult to hear talking in the group and the food was sub par for me. The ruben was on a cuben bread not the typical rye or pumpernickle. The coleslaw was 90% mayo and the salad was not a typical side salad. Not recommended. I won't be a return patron.

There is one thing I look forward to at the end of my day, is to decompress and visit my favorite local spot called Salty Dogs. One of my favorites is Erica!, she always greets me with a pleasenr smile and a great attitude for life. She never forgets what my drink and favorite foods are. She is one of the reasons that I continue to come back time and time again.

I just have to say the 1 pound of steamed Gulf shrimp is the tastiest and best in town!!!

The shrimp tacos are worth the drive. I've never had anything but that, but the wraps look good too. Salads as side dishes are healthier, but like most people, I'd rather have fries or O rings.

Rylee was my bartender, the service was good and efficient and the company even better. Highly recommend!

Every meal I’ve ever eaten here has been an great surprise. Dry rub ribs tonight were the best and the bartender was very nice and cool. I recommend it to everybody

I really like this place I would suggest that the cook consider reducing the salt in the food. So far most of the entrees I have had are too salty. The food has good flavor, but would taste much better with less salt. BTW, that is a consensus from moat of my table guests.

We’ve just moved back to the area and as we’re waiting for our home to be completed, we had to eat out a lot. One late evening we were starving after a long day of cleaning, painting, etc and decided to look for a place to eat. Salty Dogs popped up and was one of the only places open that late at night. We were over the moon excited and happy we ended up there! The restaurant is really cool, awesome atmosphere, our server was super kind and very attentive. The food was SOOO GOOD! We had the boiled peanuts for an appetizer and they were THE best boiled peanuts we’ve ever had! Huge portions of everything we got and had much to bring home to munch on over the next day! We also got the huge baked potato with Cajun shrimp, the lobster bisque, and a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. We’re happy to know there’s a fabulous restaurant that’s not only open late, but also has an awesome menu with so many options! They even happily catered to my onion allergy. 10/10 recommend!

Lived in the downtown area for a year and decided to give a try when daughter was visiting. Upon arriving the lights were very dim and noticed the table next to us using cell phones to read menu so we did the same. The food was overpriced and nothing exciting. They use a VERY cheap paper in a basket for a plate which may be fine French fries or appetizers but after 1 bite of my side salad I was digging paper out of my food. The other good experience was the young gentleman server did a good job
