Adorable looking place. Love the decor. Service however is lacking. There was just one server, and she was a bit overwhelmed I think. The tea was of and a bit sour. I ordered sou and salad. Soup was good, French onion. Sale look good until I started to mix the dressing and underneath the greens we’re a bit slimy and a lot of yellow.The server also keep arguing with the guy that was cooking. The whole restaurant could hear.It’s my second time. Do t think I’ll be back. Shame.. it’s a cute place.

My wife and I had been to most of all the restaurants in downtown Inverness, today we tried The Bistro too, and we are glad we did. I have been looking for a good pizza here in Florida for 3 years now and the best had been in Tampa, now we found this. The red sauce is usually bland in this area, not so here... The red sauce is Fantastic! So much flavor. I wish I could buy it by the gallon. The pizza came out perfect and the cheesy bread was off the hook! I am glad we decided to give this place a try. We will definitely be back!!! What a great little place!

Excellent! This was our first time going and I'm actually upset that we haven't been here before! The pizza was absolutely amazing. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the black goat pizza but it turned out fantastic. When we went, there was no wait and the woman and her husband were very pleasant to deal with. We will most definitely be back

I ordered my meal with no Parmesan cheese. It came with it so I sent it back. The guy did not like that. He scraped it off and refused the plate. I could tell as the remainingsauce on the plate was smeared over the side and still had Parmesan cheese on the plate. The pasta was very dry. When I said something about that, I was told it was because of the wood oven. It was dried out from sitting. Also had very little flavor.The pizza had no flavor and the wrong salad dressing was brought to the table.I had to wait 5 minutes for silverware after my salad arrived and another 5 minutes for the proper dressing. The only person in the building was a lady with her computer on the phone in the center of the dining room. She was eating and talking with her mouth full to a couple that came while we were eating. It turned out she was the owner.Parking: Very limited
All I can say is omg!!! I had the Brussels sprouts and the fungus amongus. The best thing I’ve eaten at a restaurant in a very long time!!!

The Bistro Cafe on Old Main St in Inverness makes excellent wood fired pizza. I’ve been there three times and tried three different pizzas and they were all terrific. If you are looking for a NY pizza you will not find it here, but you will find outstanding wood fired pizza with interesting toppings as well as some appetizer and entree choices. Combine that with the charm of a being located in a historic building in downtown Inverness to make for a lovely meal with lovely ambiance.
