Really cool place with a great atmosphere and some excellent service. This place is worth checking out. All tables are high top, but there are some couches by the small bowling lanes. Try the huge pretzel and some of the many boars and take games there.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Playground right outside the front door, with chairs for parents to keep an eye on little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily addressed by ramp.

If you've been sleeping on The Train Station, you're missing out. We were hesitant to go because of the very kid-friendly vibes, but the crowd shifted after about 8pm. The beer selection is bottles/cans only - no draught, but they have a solid variety. Tasteful decorations, clean, plenty of seating, and no shortage of things to do: duckpin bowling, hookey, shuffleboard, etc. We'll definitely go back.

Expensive, absolutely awful ice cream and I'd like to echo the sentiment of others when I say that the manager needs to retire. She was extremely unpleasant, clearly felt put out by being there, not sure why she's doing it. Probably illegal to sell something that is lactose free as ice cream but what do I know, kind of fraudulent but let's be honest it is in a great location so I'm sure they do well . They sold my daughter a cookies and cream ice cream that had no cookies they clearly don't have any desire to have any level of quality in the product or service at least on the ice cream side

We were biking the Withlacochee Rail Trail and stopped here for a coffee. It was the BEST flavoured coffee we’ve had. Caroline came out to chat while we caught up on our emails with free wifi on the patio. We’ll be back everyday we are here! Bravo to the owners!

Went there with my grandson and my wife, the place is nice, the employees are nice, the manager I think she is one of the owners needs to retire, she absolutely does not like people. Rude lady.First a girl who was bowling went to use the rest room and the older lady, manager owner yelled at her that there is no public restrooms, the girl was confused because she was there as a customer and pleaded her case just to use the bathroom. Then my grandson wanted to try the bowling game, the owner, manager was standing there so I asked her how do I pay for a game, she pointed to the bar and said pay over there the bowling game is not free. I was not expecting it for free. For now on when we go to Inverness on the bike trail we will bypass the Train Station and ride an extra block where the restaurants treat customers like people.

Great public place to relax, eat good food, drink some casual beers/cocktails.I’m not sure of the pricing, as I went as a part of a party, but the food and drinks were good. We had nachos and pizza. The pizzas are on the smaller size but there is a wide variety, including vegetarian options. The nachos are standard nachos but good. The drinks were mostly beers, including many local Floridians options. However, I do not believe they have any beers on tap, as all of the beers I got were canned. The cocktails when I went were also canned. There is “bowling” here. However it is a type of miniature bowling. I believe the bowling is free, however it may have been a part of the party package. The interior is quite small but nice. The staff was also extremely friendly. There was a christmas tree set up for the holidays as well.Right outside is a public park and a walking trail near the water. It seems like a popular place to bring the whole family. The Train Station was a bit hard to find, it is a small building tucked behind the actual train station.

Great options to have right next to the playground, makes for an inexpensive day of fun… can take the kids to the playground and then get pizza / ice cream after. Always a good time. Place always looks clean and staff is friendly. So far all the food I’ve tried has been excellent.

We are big fans of their pizza, the Fast Track, to be exact. It is very yummy pesto pizza with goat cheese. These are great for lunch or to eat at the park. They have lots of games for entertainment when you are dining too!

The Train Station is a little gem in downtown Inverness. It is a family friendly establishment with many options. They have tables with various games on them. Comfortable couches and chairs for sitting and talking. Outside also has rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs and hightop tables with stools. They have food and drinks like pizza, sandwiches, nachos, breakfast items humongous pretzels, wines, beers, coffee, cokes. Something for everyone.Shuffle board with sand, a library with board games. Duckpin bowling has a small fee. See photos.
