The worst service in the florida keys. We had 3 different servers none spoke english very well and took so long to get or order anything. The menu was very small and very pricey.

Live music, good drinks, a fire pit, many outdoor seats, great drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We really enjoyed the love music and walking along the boardwalk area. They added toech/tiki lights and a lot of remodeling. Very nice job remodeling everything here. The Sticky Steak skewers were very good.

I'm so torn about this review, but I hope it will help someone like me one day. If you are coming here for the first time and looking for a good meal you won't be disappointed. However, if you are coming here looking for the Tiki Bar that's been here since 1969 you will be severely disappointed. The place has been massively gentrified. Gone is the dive bar by the ocean, the pictures and money stapled to the ceiling by 20 years of drunk bikers, the wonderfully greasy burgers and fries, and the wet T shirt contests. Today you'll find yourself in a lovely looking resort for hipsters and yuppies with a sophisticated menu of well crafted meals. Most of the time that's a good thing, but for me... I came here for the Tiki Bar, not another copy+paste modern resort bar.

Knowing it was the home of the original rum runner made it a hard one to pass on stopping. So glad we did. Grabbed some lunch as well. Coconut shrimp with the sauce to dip it into was delicious as well as the tuna we had. The original rum runner was delicious. The scenery around there was amazing to just walk around if you want by the water. Plenty of seating and swings along the way.

Harold (one of the managers) was awesome. Perfect setting and great tiki music. We loved the drinks and they even had an vegan app of edamame hummus for vegans. We will be back!

Coconut shrimps had a ton of breading. You could barely taste the shrimp. Fries were OK and vegan dishes were OK too.
