“This is a great pit stop on the drive up or down to the Keys. Below the restaurant is a dock that boats are chartered out of. The views from the second floor, where it is situated, are spectacular. My friends and I sat outside. The food we ordered was all well prepared. The service was great. The pigeons that kept coming to try to pilfer a meal were not. However, other than that, this is a perfectly good option for a nice lunch.”

“We stopped for a late lunch and were very pleased with our choice. Reese was our waiter and he was so much fun! He gave us some basic history of Islamorada and the Keys, which we were appreciative of! We tried gator bites which my husband loved. I would give them an ok, but just the thought I couldn’t get past, lol. Great shrimp, I had the catch of the day, Mahi Mahi , grilled and delicious. We had a great experience and will come back!”

“Stopped by on a whim and a hunger for pizza. Location a bit hidden but worth it. Plenty of parking and surrounding stores are nice too. I got me a small pepperoni pizza. Very good and the dough was fresh. Definitely recommend and will come back again when in the area.”

“We stopped by here on a whim for a couple drinks. Our bartender was Jeff “Brewer” and he was the best bartender we’ve ever had. He was very personable & knowledgeable about his craft. He surprised us with unique drinks (not on the drink list) complete with the back story/history of each one. We absolutely loved our experience!”

Sunday brunch was a treat, the quiche was obviously freshly made and delicious and the biscuits and gravy were amazing. There is a well rounded wines by the glass menu with something for every taste and a more extensive wine by the bottle menu. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.”

“Great food, peaceful atmosphere… cold drinks when we went to get them ourselves. Hostess was kind & full of smiles today on 4/3, bussers were on their game…. Our server Nick or Mick…kept disappearing to over past the kayaks, then to go eat and forgot he had tables or something…. Huge table walked out after searching for him…. We waited. We understand it gets busy…we drive down frequently from Fort Myers. BUT Nick/Mick Never asked if we wanted more adult beverages, took forever to order, had to ask about our order, had to wave him down multiple times as he came back from hiding by the kayaks for drinks. All waitstaff definitely noticed our displeasure except ours 🙃”

Large menu, multiple sizes, fast service (especially when you have tons of people and only one person behind the bus). We have members in our party with celiac and when asked if anything was gluten free, for celiac, they answered and even offered to show us the tubs of ice cream and flavor bottles! There was a mix up on our end and when I reached out later, the owners were incredibly helpful and understanding. This is definitely a small business you should support! The owners are great, service is fast, prices are decent, location is great, snacks are yummy! This will be on our list for when we come back to the keys! Also don’t miss the key lime pie ice cream!”

“We visited while on vacation. The first time we had the ice cream and some of the chocolates. The next day we returned and bought more ice cream, chocolates, and candy as souvenirs to take home to the kids. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. I love the decor too.”

The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, with unbeatable waterfront views, but the highlight of my visit was the blackened hogfish with Tabasco butter sauce. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and the sauce was incredible — rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in the Keys, Marker 88 is a must-visit for both the food and the setting. Highly recommend!”

“They kept the charm of the old Marker 88 in little details like keep the 2 GREEN covered table and benches almost in the same location as before... a iconic scene was shot in one of them on a episode of BLOODLINE. Food is as good if not better than before if that is possible.... service is excellent too. Friendly staff including hostess/host and waitresses/waiters very impressed with the new dock and WOW EVERY table has a GREAT view to take in LOTS of selfies were being taken during my visit, I celebrated my 78th Birthday 1 day before and had Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos for Lunch. So happy they did a complete do over after the destruction from the hurricane that so much damage to the beautiful Keys. Welcome Back Marker 88! Happy to see you there....”
