“Twisted Shrimp was delicious. Thomas (the waiter) was a hoot. My party of 4 all had something different. We also shared two desserts. It was all good. Indoor seating is limited. We ate outdoors and was visited by an Iguana in the tree. (sweet!) I recommend anything on the menu. Great place to eat!”

“Great stop off or even home place to drink if you are staying in the area. Good things are drinks and what little food they have is quality. Great ambiance, clean bathrooms, and most importantly, air conditioning! They have live music and a place outdoors, but the time of year 8 months out of the year it is too hot to be outside listening. The only annoyance was how they ask for tips but yet you do all of your own waiting on yourself for all drinks and food. They required us to go outside to pick up our own food. No one was around to even hold the door; so we have plates of food in our hands and about to drop it all over. Don’t say there isn’t skill in waitressing! We should get the 20% tip back as a discount for dealing with that. That and the flights you have to carry yourself so you are balancing like 6 drinks on a board. Better hope you don’t spill! The t shirts are there because I guess the catch is they make all of the guests employees! I’m being serious. I like it, but not being my own waitress. I guess I’ll come when I feel like waiting on myself OR the option is to sit at the bar. The bar had great drink service. I’ll give it that.”

They have an extensive wine list and menu, but this was probably one of the best Delmonico ribeye streaks I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is a cut above your local tourist dining attractions.”

“Incredible meal today! Gourmet food with a casual price and atmosphere. Many local brews on tap. We started with the fish dip that came with homemade rosemary crostinis which were the perfect ratio of crunch to soft bread. We had spicy fish tacos, which is actually wrapped like a burrito. Fish blackened perfectly, amazing flavor. I asked if they had a spicy dipping sauce for it and they made a sriracha ranch for me. Also had the grouper reuben which was also amazing. Large portions. Fun arcade games to play also!”

“It’s been years since we’ve eaten here, but it’s just a good! We had the Nancy Pants and Juicy Lucy and both hit the spot. Fresh bread buns were perfectly toasted and patties were juicy and flavorful. We upgraded to truffle fries and everything was delicious as expected. Service was attentive and we enjoyed our late lunch at M.E.A.T.”

“Omg the shrimp here was amazing! Great selection of beer too. I got the shrimp basket fried in piña colada batter, which gave it an awesome coconut flavor. It came with a side of my choice, so I went with the mac n’ cheese. Definitely not healthy, but honestly such a great dinner. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were packed with amazing flavor.

The ambiance was laid-back and chill, which was perfect after a long day. Lots of great food options too!

The servers were so sweet and attentive. You could tell they had great teamwork and were all helping each other.

Overall, it’s such a fun spot with yummy food, and the prices were reasonable. Already dreaming about the fried shrimp!!! We also ordered the key lime pie with chocolate to go, and we’re excited to enjoy it as a snack later!”

“This was the best Thai iced tea I've had since I visited Thailand! They have a large tea/snack menu and the vibe was cute and nice. The shop was cute and the person who helped me was friendly. If I lived in the Keys, I would visit the cafe often.”

“Discovered this little strip mall gem on our first evening. The owners and staff are delightful. Sunday brunch was a treat, the quiche was obviously freshly made and delicious and the biscuits and gravy were amazing. There is a well rounded wines by the glass menu with something for every taste and a more extensive wine by the bottle menu. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.”

“Edna and Erik were so accommodating! We stayed in a houseboat at Bud N Mary's and 30 of our friends showed up on Saturday morning and Edna handled it like a BOSS! The food is excellent and they cooked our fresh Mahi with the yummiest seasoning! Do not miss this little Gem! Have a burrito and coffee for breakfast! The coffee is amazing!

“A very pleasant time with the family over a meal, the room is well air-conditioned, the staff takes great care, the setting is superb. The food is fresh and of good quality, it's rare in the US to find such fresh dishes at this price. This is an address not to be missed!”

“We visited while on vacation. The first time we had the ice cream and some of the chocolates. The next day we returned and bought more ice cream, chocolates, and candy as souvenirs to take home to the kids. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. I love the decor too.”

“Yummy ice cream and shaved ice, and incredible customer service! It was a hot December day and Robbie’s and Charli’s Shave Ice was the perfect place to get a snack! Large menu, multiple sizes, fast service (especially when you have tons of people and only one person behind the bus). We have members in our party with celiac and when asked if anything was gluten free, for celiac, they answered and even offered to show us the tubs of ice cream and flavor bottles! There was a mix up on our end and when I reached out later, the owners were incredibly helpful and understanding. This is definitely a small business you should support! The owners are great, service is fast, prices are decent, location is great, snacks are yummy! This will be on our list for when we come back to the keys! Also don’t miss the key lime pie ice cream!”

“A beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and a very swift service by the pool. The wings and the tuna nachos were a great appetizer before we fished off the pier. The make a really great margarita at the bar!

Parking: Once you enter the resort facility, go to the left and there’s a gravel parking lot in which to park for the restaurant or for visitors.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a family resort and has a restaurant at the pool with a bar and chairs with umbrellas to sit under. Bathrooms are located across from the bar to the right near the painted wall with the green eel and other colorful fish wall art.”

“This location is incredible. Tons of seating, excellent food and drink, and really outstanding veiws. (Location of many scenes in Bloodline) We sat on the adirondacks, and enjoyed a couple of excellent drinks and views of the water. If you’re in Islamorada, can’t beat this.”

This time it was my son and myself, we had sashimi nigiri and a few rolls. Our favorite was the Kendall roll, which we chose by recommendation of the chefs, Thomas and Steven. “They kept the charm of the old Marker 88 in little details like keep the 2 GREEN covered table and benches almost in the same location as before... a iconic scene was shot in one of them on a episode of BLOODLINE. Food is as good if not better than before if that is possible.... service is excellent too. Friendly staff including hostess/host and waitresses/waiters very impressed with the new dock and WOW EVERY table has a GREAT view to take in LOTS of selfies were being taken during my visit, I celebrated my 78th Birthday 1 day before and had Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos for Lunch. So happy they did a complete do over after the destruction from the hurricane that so much damage to the beautiful Keys. Welcome Back Marker 88! Happy to see you there....”
