“We realized, on our way through Key Largo, after a long day of paddle boarding, that we were craving Italian food. We decided to stop at Italian Food Company as it had a bit better ratings than another one nearby. We are so glad we did. The Arancini appetizer and it was delicious. Very gooey cheese and perfect fry on the outside. I ordered the Gnocchi ala Sorrentino which included pillowy gnocchi in a Pomodoro sauce with lots of melty mozzarella. My wife got the killer dish of the evening with the Fiocchi de Pera, which was a pasta wrapped (like a money bag) around pear and a soft cheese, topped with a light cream sauce and honey and almonds. It was unusual but a wonderful sweet and savory bite. Their dessert case is insane and we went home with three desserts. Leann was our amazing server. She walked us through the menu and the dessert case and was great in recommending wine pairings. We've never had such an adept waitress. She is perfect at that job. Oh, and the wood fired pizzas looked incredible.We just got off the Chefs Making Waves cruise on Friday that featured some of the best celebrity chefs that can be found on the Food Network and the food at Italian Food Kitchen would have outshone all of the food we had on that cruise. “Don't sleep on this place, everything here is awesome.....I'm addicted. Favorite items are the pizzadilla and the birria fries. They also offer delivery and are super nice and friendly.”

“I just made a quick stop here since I saw they had conch fritters, sadly I was disappointed, they put some kind of curry spice to them that makes them taste just wrong. The place was cute and personnel were nice.”

“I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The staff worked together making sure we were happy. The food was fantastic. My go to choice for a seafood dinner is Mediterranean fish. It was the best I have ever had. My 2 dinner friends were equally pleased. The only negative is that I am from the Tampa area and it’s too far to be a frequent dining customer.”

“We held our wedding over the weekend at Largo Resort (a 5 minute walk from mikes) and got lunch from here two days in a row it was so good! The service was fast, friendly, and accommodating. We got a little of everything both times and the quality of it all was perfect. The brisket was incredible and everyone loved it - there were lots of north carolinians and texans in the crowd, so that says a lot. Couldn’t recommend them more for a quick and delicious bite at a great cost point!”

“This place is a hidden gem. My friend and I were going on a walk and were drawn in by the flags. The chef is so nice and kind, he gave us some suggestions to choose from and we decided on the steak sandwich, which was huge! The fruits are super fresh he even showed me the Mamey that he cuts in a bag freshly done! Get a Mamey smoothie you won’t regret it!Edit: went here a second time in a row and ordered the tostone rellenos and lomo saltado!!! AMAZING so much flavor, he cooks the saltado in a Wok so you know it’s the REAL deal!”

“5 stars only because I cannot give 6. The conch fritters were a delight, like the most perfect hush puppy. The Mahi sandwich, jerked and with Jack, cheddar, onions and mushrooms on grilled rye was brilliant, needing neither the lemon nor tartar sauce it was served with. The fried shrimp and the Mahi Reuben likewise were stellar. Service was casual yet prompt, and the view down the cove is lovely in the afternoon.”

“They have a great cuban sandwich with a twist called "Fernandez Cuban". I am cuban, and from Miami, and this quickly is on my top three to go places for cuban sandwiches.”
