“My family and I were headed on our way out of The Keys. We were looking for waterfront with some good reviews. We were so surprised to find this hidden gem. From start to finish, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The outdoor dining is creative with little water fountains and cute decor. The food was some of the best and freshest we found in the Keys. My husband loved the ribs, said they were “on point”. My sisters fish tacos were so fresh ..they had to have caught it that morning!? She raved about it. I have to say that my salad was one of the freshest I’ve ordered at a Seafood restaurant. Props to our waiter Steven, he was refreshingly funny and exceptionally attentive even though they were very busy. Some of the best service I’ve ever had to be honest! I don’t know how this place isn’t 5 stars? People Need to rate when it’s great too!! We will definitely be back!”

“Whether you’re looking for authentic Cuban coffee or not, this little food truck spot is a must stop. Whether you like your coffee iced or strong, they know exactly what good coffee should taste like. The owner was incredibly sweet and even came outside to greet us and take our order personally. We tried the banana bread too, and it was absolutely delicious — moist, fresh, and full of flavor. We only stopped for coffee and a quick treat this time, but if the food is anything like the coffee, we’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend! ☕🍌”

“A BIG SALUTE to the Armory Speakeasy at The Post In Key Largo.

What a fun and unique experience. The Armory has a hidden entrance in the back of the building via a tunnel. You then pick up a hidden walkie-talkie and give them a secret code, which is posted on their social media sites daily. It’s really fun! The decor theme is amazing. The walls are lined with photographs to honor local military members. There’s also a Missing Man table that is quite moving.

We sat at the bar. It was a great experience. Since the place is dimly lit, the back lit menus are a great idea. We had yummy appetizers. The General’s Old Fashion was delish.
It was quite the experience. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.”

I got a couple sides— black beans, white rice, sweet plantains and tomato slides and it was SO unbelievably flavorful and perfectly cooked. With a little Cuban coffee?! Come onnnn. “My wife and I were expecting the normal overpriced resort patio with normal iffy food. Thankfully, the Palm Court was not this. First, the pricing was perfectly reasonable. But more importantly, the food was really tasty. We ate lunch and I ordered a shake and fish tacos with waffle fries and they were both simply delicious. If you are staying at ORC, this is an excellent lunch spot.”

“They were very packed during the first day of of the lobster event where it was 20 bucks for the meal. They were so busy and and the workers continue to keep up with the very hot heat. This was my family‘s first time going out there. We going out there again on Sunday because we enjoyed the music and the food was great. The pricing for the lobster meal was a good price.”

“Visiting from Michigan and was so excited to find this gem. My husband ordered a Pepperoni Pizza while I enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp. Definitely wish I could take this restaurant back home with me, because everything was delish! The entire staff were so very pleasant as well. “Bogie's is such a cool place! It is situated at the Holiday Inn in Key Largo by their fabulous pool with waterfall. It is a good-sized tiki hut with comfortable high top chairs. It is in the shade. There are tables with umbrellas and another smaller tiki hut for seating.

I want to commend the guys that work there and how they provided A+ service while we were staying there (May 7-9). They were hard workers and brought our meals to us by the pool and even picked up the plates after we were done. All with a nice smile!

The food was delicious. We had Chicken Fingers one day and the next day, Chicken & Cheese quesadillas! Both were good choices. We enjoyed Bogie's.”

“On vacation in the keys and my son wanted to try fishing. We stopped into this shop looking for tackle. The staff were more than welcoming and very helpful. They put us on the right gear to use to catch fish. They also gave my son a tour of the live baits they sell. Amazing place, if you’re in the area I highly recommend you stopping in there!”

“We could not find a bad place to eat in the keys that being said this was my favorite. The mango Mojito was so good. I will be adding it to the drinks that I make it home from now on. This was also my first time trying pork belly. It was phenomenal. The excellence of the food was only matched by the view out the big open doors that they had out to the beach. just walking in to the restaurant from the parking lot was a great experience and we couldn’t help but taking pictures. overall, this restaurant was magical and summed up our experience with the keys.”

“This place is a great hole in the wall. It has a no frills ambiance, but our server was fantastic. We had the legendary conch fritter. It is huge and so perfect, with tender conch and a sweet type of batter. If you are an uptight picky pants, move right along.”

“A party of 4, we went for breakfast at 10am. Lucy was our server. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She was hands down one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had at any restaurant. We had a bad experience at another local restaurant the evening before and was kind of over key largo until we stumbled upon Sharkey’s/Lucy. The food was delicious too. Such an all around great experience we plan to go back for dinner.”

“The resort has beautiful grounds and well maintained. The drinks at sunset is a really lovely touch, and the pizzas at Dry Rocks were exceptionally good. However, the room we stayed in (which has a kitchenette) needs work and fails to provide the basics which I would think is a health issue ie. no dishwashing or handwashing liquid. There is also no kitchen plug to wash dishes. Considering the daily cost, I would have thought that these would have been provided. Between booking the resort and arriving, the resort changed from self parking to valet parking and failed to communicate this and the increased cost. I wouldn’t have booked knowing it was valet only parking as we would rather be self sufficient and have easy vehicle access. On this basis, although we enjoyed ourselves, we wouldn’t stay again at the resort and would consider another option.”

“Everything about Gilbert's Resort is perfect, we love driving the motorcycle there from Ft Lauderdale to spend the day or weekend. Great bands and food at the Tiki Bar always fun. Beautiful atmosphere on the water. I wish I could live there.”

“We have eaten at Calusa many times when we stay at Bakers Cay resort in Key Largo. You cannot beat the sunset view anywhere. Enjoy some champagne. Have a wonderful ,wonderful meal and Cocktails then just walk downstairs to your room. We would drive to dinner there even if we were not hotel guests.  The menu has many delicious choices, including some interesting salads and appetizers. Nothing beats their seafood choices on the menu, always fresh and wonderful with Innovative and delicious recipes side dishes, etc.  Service is great, no rushing through meal at all. My husband and I love to share dishes so that we can try many things on the menu, and the waiter had no problem in asking how we wanted things served when we wanted things served, etc..  We look forward to our meal there every time we visit.”

“What a fun place! We sat outside on the patio facing the canal, the water was great, it rained a little but we were under the tiki hut so even right at the rail, we didn't get wet. The server (Derrick) was awesome, he helped us choose our meals, was very attentive, had a great personality. The food, well the good was excellent, we had peel and eat shrimp to start, it was liberally spiced, not sure with what but it was delicious, a little bite but I don't do spicy and this was not too hot, just good. Then for our entree, we shared the seafood platter, it too was very good. The shrimp in both dishes were HUGE, the fish was light and flaky, everything on the plate was just right. “I had a phenomenal experience here! It was so good I came for dinner two nights in a row. My server was Natalie and she was awesome both nights! I also opted for the exact same meal on both nights… I can’t speak for the rest of the menu but I chose lamb chops for my appetizer and the gnocchi for my entree — both were amazing!! The gnocchi tasted fresh and the lamb was cooked to perfection in a light reduction with mushrooms and shallot. The gnocchi was cooked with peas and a braised oxtail that literally fell of the bone and I ate it all down to the last bite! My girlfriend loved the grilled octopus and the seafood pappardelle as well. Great dining experience; definitely recommend this spot for dinner if you’re in Key Largo”
