“We realized, on our way through Key Largo, after a long day of paddle boarding, that we were craving Italian food. We decided to stop at Italian Food Company as it had a bit better ratings than another one nearby. We are so glad we did. The Arancini appetizer and it was delicious. Very gooey cheese and perfect fry on the outside. I ordered the Gnocchi ala Sorrentino which included pillowy gnocchi in a Pomodoro sauce with lots of melty mozzarella. My wife got the killer dish of the evening with the Fiocchi de Pera, which was a pasta wrapped (like a money bag) around pear and a soft cheese, topped with a light cream sauce and honey and almonds. It was unusual but a wonderful sweet and savory bite. Their dessert case is insane and we went home with three desserts. Leann was our amazing server. She walked us through the menu and the dessert case and was great in recommending wine pairings. We've never had such an adept waitress. She is perfect at that job. Oh, and the wood fired pizzas looked incredible. We just got off the Chefs Making Waves cruise on Friday that featured some of the best celebrity chefs that can be found on the Food Network and the food at Italian Food Kitchen would have outshone all of the food we had on that cruise. Thank you!“
“This used to be one of my favorite places in all of the keys, that changed as of today. I have been on the toilet basically all day because something was not right with the food. It absolutely tore me up. It has to be that I was served something that was spoiled. Tables were all dirty and gross with food on table clothes. Not sure what happened but I can’t recommend it any longer.“
“My husband and I stopped in for a drink and a couple of apps and it was delicious. I wished we’d done there for a full meal. Watermelon salad was out of this world. Ceviche was delicious. Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers were also great and good for a lactose intolerant person because of the goat cheese stuffing. Great, friendly service.“
“Stopped by the tasting room while on vacation. Loved everything we had. Got home and regretted not buying any bottles while there. Luckily, these wonderful people will ship this golden deliciousness. The shipping was super fast. And here I am a week later on a voyage with the Lost Viking--superb offerings.“
“Donuts were hot and fresh. Made to order so naturally this is not a fast experience. Skip the coffee though - absolutely terrible. But if you must, bring your own mug - the cute but flimsy to-go cups are sure to spill and make a royal mess.“
“Great meal, including daily specials, friendly & efficient service, clean & comfortable dining inside & out. Delicious bread basket with pretzel rolls and others. Key lime pie was great. Seafood pasta special loaded with shrimp, mussels, fish, & scallops. Value for the money as check was reasonable.“
“Great food. I ordered a breakfast burrito wrap that came with mayonnaise. I found mayo unusual but gave it a try. I'm particular with my condiments and usually ask ahead of time to go light on condiments. I forgot to let my server know, and the wrap came loaded with mayo. No biggie. I just scrapped it all off. If mayo is your thing, you are fine. If not, just be sure to let your server know ahead of time. My kids loved their chocolate chip waffles. Would definitely recommend stopping by.“
“We stopped here spontaneously for lunch. The food was very tasty, we ate fish. The tartar sauce served with it was very tasty and the fish was delicious both grilled and fried. The only negative point: our table wasn't clean and the bench wasn't clean either.“
“We came in for breakfast and were waited on immediately by Marie. She was so pleasant and everyone in the restaurant was very friendly. Our food was served so hot and fresh. It was delicious. The menu is big and has something for everyone for sure. Our only regret is that we found it now instead of ten years ago. We cannot wait come back. The lunch specials looked so good.“
“This place is amazing! If you like fresh seafood you need to come here the raw oysters were so fresh we also order conch ceviche and the portion was generous the lobster roll on point! We enjoy the atmosphere and fast service we decide to go back in the next day. We are coming back on our next trip to the keys.“
“We had one night in Key Largo and wanted some good seafood. Ended up at Mrs. Mac’s, and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter Steve was on top of it, had great suggestions and we were not disappointed. The food was very good. Make sure you don’t skip the peanut butter pie.“
“Our go-to spot in the Florida Keys for fresh, local fish. Key Largo Fishers has it all: stone crabs, mahi-mahi, hogfish, superb fish dip, and cold beers. The atmosphere is just what you'd expect in the Keys, laid-back and friendly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for any seafood lover.“
“We usually stop here when in the area for a sweet treat. After trying several key lime pies in Largo and areas around I will say they have the best. The graham cracker crust is tasty and pie itself not overly bitter sweet. Get a slice or entire pie as it doesn’t disappoint!!“
“I love this place. I have to have dairy free, and gluten free and they made me my ice cream with coconut milk and had several toppings. I love the story of Sparky. And the service was great! Be sure to check it out if you’re in Key Largo.“
“Yes, much better, we visited a year ago… they must have a new chief, we asked, they do 7 months. We visited Friday for an early dinner, live music, full but no wait.We have nachos and steamed mussel apps, very good.Baja tacos, fried fish platter, lobster mac… all excellent.Cole slaw… yes!!Service, Kimberly was great.I hope the owner keeps this chief, definitely back to a top place in the northern key.Yes, I recommend and we will be back!!“
“Ordered seafood from here many times, always fresh and well packed. First time eating at the restaurant, very impressive. Huge menu, nice location on the canal. Very busy place, but they kick the food out quickly. Wife and I got the Grouper Cheeks, soooo good, like the “tenderloin” of the sea! Highly recommend, if they have them on the menu. Also had a very well portioned Hogfish sandwich, perfectly prepared, not overcooked like some restaurants do. Beer could be colder, but hey, it’s the Keys, lol. Some items are a little pricey, but well worth it.“
“Appetizers.... overcooked fried calamari..... truffle fries....a bit underwhelming....conch fritters were great. Cocktails... dissapointing. Meal. Poboy great.....only ate the shrimp filling ...the roll fell apart..... skipped dessert. Eat at your own risk.“
“We love a good beach bar, and Sharky's is one of our new favorites! The service and food are super slow, so this is not a place to be in a rush. Just chill and enjoy the setting and the excellent live music. The food is worth the wait. We both had bowls. I had the chipotle chicken, and he had mahi. Man, oh man, that was yummy! The staff is pleasant but not overly attentive. The long gray haired dude someone disparaged in another review is very nice! (I don't think he is even a server). We will be back.“
“Heather and Jen at the front desk are simply amazing. My daughter and I came for her 13th birthday, and all she wanted to do was fish. We went to a marina to get a cheap pole and hooks, plus bait. Came back only to find out we needed a pliers, and no one had one. We went to the front desk to see what options we had. Heather went to her car and brought back her own tackle box for us to borrow! I told them we were there for my daughter's birthday, and Jen gave her a birthday coupon for a free dessert. To say they made our day is an understatement. Thank you, Heather and Jen! You made this trip for us.Nearby activities: Fishing!“
“Great experience! Very helpful and friendly booking staff and easy scheduling process. Captains were super friendly and accommodating. Great times on the bay, saw some manatee, then anchored at another location for some float & sun time. Would reserve again!“
