“My family and I were headed on our way out of The Keys. We were looking for waterfront with some good reviews. We were so surprised to find this hidden gem. From start to finish, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The outdoor dining is creative with little water fountains and cute decor. The food was some of the best and freshest we found in the Keys. My husband loved the ribs, said they were “on point”. My sisters fish tacos were so fresh ..they had to have caught it that morning!? She raved about it. I have to say that my salad was one of the freshest I’ve ordered at a Seafood restaurant. Props to our waiter Steven, he was refreshingly funny and exceptionally attentive even though they were very busy. Some of the best service I’ve ever had to be honest! I don’t know how this place isn’t 5 stars? People Need to rate when it’s great too!! We will definitely be back!“

“Everyone has their favorite diner, this one happens to be mine. Prices are fair for a Florida Keys Breakfast with a view of the water. Service is always great and food comes out quick. If you’re looking to get breakfast after service, have a lazy morning before driving back home, or need some relief for that hangover, The Hideout has you covered.

Parking is limited and the restaurant closes after lunch service has ended.“

“The food was seasoned and that was a refreshing find since we have been on the island but my wings and steak were completely inedible. I hate that because I saw those were both highly recommended by the reviews. The manager was very accommodating though, apologized and took off the items I couldn't eat. I'd try this place again but not while I'm here. Maybe next time if we are down.“

“The Lauderdale Small Boat Club had our first annual fleet run from Fort Lauderdale down to Gilbert in Key Largo. I worked with the management to arrange our stay and Dock space They were warm, accommodating and super friendly! Check-in was smooth and their entire staff was incredible. The hotel rooms were clean and perfect for easy access to the docks. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will be back next year!!!“
