“Had my first experience at Lido 73 today. First off, the outside dining area is right on the canal where you can watch the fish and other wildlife while you eat which sure beats a TV in the corner. The second thing you'll notice is an expansive menu which truly has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a lite bite or a main dish (like myself) I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The wine/beer list is equally as expansive and welcoming of all tastes.

Now down to business. I ordered the fillet medallions on and empty stomach and was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meat - cooked medium rare as I had requested. There is only one other restaurant that can match this quality and they are far more expensive without the accompanying sides. I was able to substitute mashed potatoes and asparagus which elevated the meal passed medley and fingerling potatos that come standard.

“Ok the place is not the most beautiful place but the food is on another level. I am Cuban and I know! The masitas de puerco were perfection, perfectly cooked on the outside and soft on the inside. The bistec de palomilla tasted as it should, citrusy and with its marinated onions. The yuca, moros and tostones on point. To be honest it’s the first time I have tostones in a restaurant that you can actually eat. They don’t have wine but you can BYOB. 10/10 !“

“They were very packed during the first day of of the lobster event where it was 20 bucks for the meal. They were so busy and and the workers continue to keep up with the very hot heat. “Soft serve ice cream was decent but was NOT 100% vegan as the website proudly suggests. They had three flavors that weren’t vegan and three fruit flavors that were. Most of the toppings were vegan. Overall was just ok. Was kind of hard to find in the resort. The girl that helped us was nice.“
