Mangrove Mike’s is a great place to enjoy breakfast at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and the portions are huge. The food is excellent, well prepared, and tasty. Specific meals mentioned include the lobster omelette, which had big chunks of fluffy lobster tail topped with their signature lobster sauce, the breakfast quesadilla, the Acai Bowl, Nutella Strawberries and Bananas French Toast, pancakes, French toast, and salmon eggs Benedict. The service can vary; one visit with an outstanding server at the bar was attentive and friendly, while another visit with a server at a regular table was inattentive. However, other reviews note very friendly staff and awesome service. Finding parking right outside is hard, but there is a lot to the left of the store with plenty of parking. Getting there early means no wait time, but the restaurant can get full easily in the morning. It is popular with locals and tourists, so expect a wait, but it is never long. There is a lot to look at and a gift shop. Mangrove Mike’s is an absolute must stop breakfast spot on the way down to Key West.
