“Had my first experience at Lido 73 today. First off, the outside dining area is right on the canal where you can watch the fish and other wildlife while you eat which sure beats a TV in the corner. The second thing you'll notice is an expansive menu which truly has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a lite bite or a main dish (like myself) I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The wine/beer list is equally as expansive and welcoming of all tastes.

Now down to business. I ordered the fillet medallions on and empty stomach and was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meat - cooked medium rare as I had requested. There is only one other restaurant that can match this quality and they are far more expensive without the accompanying sides. I was able to substitute mashed potatoes and asparagus which elevated the meal passed medley and fingerling potatos that come standard.

“This is a great place overall. The views are second to none. As a Keys resident we love it here. It is a reason we live here. Going here make you feel like you're on vacation every weekend. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is very good. The outside bar is elevated so you at the same level as the flying bridges on the fishing fleet docked there. The inside bar has a 1200lb Marlin trophy that appears to be leaping from the middle of the bar.“

The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, with unbeatable waterfront views, but the highlight of my visit was the blackened hogfish with Tabasco butter sauce. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and the sauce was incredible — rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in the Keys, Marker 88 is a must-visit for both the food and the setting. Highly recommend!“

“A BIG SALUTE to the Armory Speakeasy at The Post In Key Largo.

What a fun and unique experience. The Armory has a hidden entrance in the back of the building via a tunnel. You then pick up a hidden walkie-talkie and give them a secret code, which is posted on their social media sites daily. It’s really fun! The decor theme is amazing. The walls are lined with photographs to honor local military members. There’s also a Missing Man table that is quite moving.

We sat at the bar. It was a great experience. Since the place is dimly lit, the back lit menus are a great idea. We had yummy appetizers. The General’s Old Fashion was delish.

“American Legion hosts the Key Largo Jam Band on Thursday nights and they invited our student musicians to come and play on stage with their band and with the musicians themself.

It’s a great experience for the students to work with other musicians and take cues/improvise with the music.

We have come a couple times now and we will continue to show up for our musicians to get more practice. Also, to play in front of a community audience, that frankly just loves to dance, and we love the energy!“
