The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, with unbeatable waterfront views, but the highlight of my visit was the blackened hogfish with Tabasco butter sauce. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and the sauce was incredible — rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal. “Had my first experience at Lido 73 today. First off, the outside dining area is right on the canal where you can watch the fish and other wildlife while you eat which sure beats a TV in the corner. The second thing you'll notice is an expansive menu which truly has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a lite bite or a main dish (like myself) I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The wine/beer list is equally as expansive and welcoming of all tastes.

Now down to business. I ordered the fillet medallions on and empty stomach and was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meat - cooked medium rare as I had requested. There is only one other restaurant that can match this quality and they are far more expensive without the accompanying sides. I was able to substitute mashed potatoes and asparagus which elevated the meal passed medley and fingerling potatos that come standard.
