“Great food, peaceful atmosphere… cold drinks when we went to get them ourselves. Hostess was kind & full of smiles today on 4/3, bussers were on their game…. Our server Nick or Mick…kept disappearing to over past the kayaks, then to go eat and forgot he had tables or something…. Huge table walked out after searching for him…. We waited. We understand it gets busy…we drive down frequently from Fort Myers. BUT Nick/Mick Never asked if we wanted more adult beverages, took forever to order, had to ask about our order, had to wave him down multiple times as he came back from hiding by the kayaks for drinks. All waitstaff definitely noticed our displeasure except ours 🙃“

“They kept the charm of the old Marker 88 in little details like keep the 2 GREEN covered table and benches almost in the same location as before... a iconic scene was shot in one of them on a episode of BLOODLINE. Food is as good if not better than before if that is possible.... service is excellent too. Friendly staff including hostess/host and waitresses/waiters very impressed with the new dock and WOW EVERY table has a GREAT view to take in LOTS of selfies were being taken during my visit, I celebrated my 78th Birthday 1 day before and had Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos for Lunch. So happy they did a complete do over after the destruction from the hurricane that so much damage to the beautiful Keys. Welcome Back Marker 88! Happy to see you there....“

The atmosphere is perfect — not too crowded, and the live music adds a great touch without being overwhelming. The real standout, though, is bartender Carlos. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, with unbeatable waterfront views, but the highlight of my visit was the blackened hogfish with Tabasco butter sauce. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and the sauce was incredible — rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in the Keys, Marker 88 is a must-visit for both the food and the setting. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I just finished a stay at Cheeca Lodge and every meal we had at Atlantic’s Edge was utterly delicious. The only picture I thought to take is attached; the steak and eggs. You can see I couldn’t resist trying each thing on the plate before I even remembered to take a photo. Over our short stay, we also sampled the best fish and chips either of us have ever had, a lovely breakfast, wonderful chips and guac with salsas (we’re Texans by birth, so this stood out to us), and indulged in fabulous cocktails from the bar a few times.

The service was excellent and all of the staff were friendly and kind. Some reviews mention the presence of families and children especially, but this is a family resort so that shouldn’t be a big surprise. It’s still a real pleasure to get to sit by the water and enjoy high quality meals. Not to mention that if you’re a resort guest, it’s nice to be able to just walk up to the restaurant through the scenic resort and walk back to your room without a thought. We can’t wait to come back and visit!“
