The shrimp were absolutely delicious, but the highlight was definitely Janeth's Favorite Fruto del Mare. It was simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a pleasure.

“Food was excellent. A bit expensive for lunch though. I didn’t ask if they offered local’s discount. They are probably expensive since they are in the most touristy part of Islamorada. I don’t think I’ll go back for a while… I’d go more often if they had a locals discount. However, the coconut fried mahi sandwich was great!! When you first walk in, it doesn’t look very inviting or decorative. They should probably focus on making it feel more welcoming.“

“Great food, peaceful atmosphere… cold drinks when we went to get them ourselves. Hostess was kind & full of smiles today on 4/3, bussers were on their game…. Our server Nick or Mick…kept disappearing to over past the kayaks, then to go eat and forgot he had tables or something…. Huge table walked out after searching for him…. We waited. We understand it gets busy…we drive down frequently from Fort Myers. BUT Nick/Mick Never asked if we wanted more adult beverages, took forever to order, had to ask about our order, had to wave him down multiple times as he came back from hiding by the kayaks for drinks. All waitstaff definitely noticed our displeasure except ours 🙃“

“They kept the charm of the old Marker 88 in little details like keep the 2 GREEN covered table and benches almost in the same location as before... a iconic scene was shot in one of them on a episode of BLOODLINE. Food is as good if not better than before if that is possible.... service is excellent too. Friendly staff including hostess/host and waitresses/waiters very impressed with the new dock and WOW EVERY table has a GREAT view to take in LOTS of selfies were being taken during my visit, I celebrated my 78th Birthday 1 day before and had Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos for Lunch. So happy they did a complete do over after the destruction from the hurricane that so much damage to the beautiful Keys. Welcome Back Marker 88! Happy to see you there....“

“Marker 88 is an absolute gem in Islamorada! The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, with unbeatable waterfront views, but the highlight of my visit was the blackened hogfish with Tabasco butter sauce. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and the sauce was incredible — rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in the Keys, Marker 88 is a must-visit for both the food and the setting. Highly recommend!“

“We had a great experience at Atlantic’s Edge yesterday. We went for lunch and dined outdoors. As usual the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was attentive. What stood out was how elevated the quality and flavor of the dishes have become since new chef, Rob Hamilton took over, under the guidance of restaurant manager, Jim Jehle. Standout dishes include: the Cheeca Cheddar Burger (best burger in Islamorada), the creatively presented smoked fish dip, the expertly prepared scallop tacos and the conch fritters- which are loaded with crispy conch. Also on the menu is a decadent lobster grilled cheese. We were pleasantly surprised by the improvements made to the menu. We’ve been visiting Cheeca Lodge for over 25 years and this is the best meal we’ve had at the resort. We look forward to checking out additional menu items.“
