It was good but not worth the wait, they will sit you outside with infested mosquitos. The wait was ridiculous. Server hardly even checked on us. Will not visit again!
The food and service are exceptional! They made our anniversary dinner so special for us! We love the food! We will be back!
You wouldn’t necessarily know it by looking at the outside, it’s a pretty unassuming little place on the side of the highway, but once you step inside, the atmosphere is cozy and upscale, white linen service all the way, with a fantastic menu by very talented chefs. It is pricey as one might expect for upscale dining, but absolutely worth it for a special night out in the Keys. 100% would return as often as I’m in Islamorada.

Ziggie & Mad Dog’s offers outstanding food, considered the best meal in Key Largo and the Florida Keys. The quality is excellent and flavorful, with a must-try being the new butter on the steaks and the best key lime pie ever. The atmosphere is nice but very loud due to tight space, making it a place for a romantic dinner, not for small kids. Service from the entire staff is great, though there is a sense of being rushed and a difference in service for local vs tourist customers. Plenty of parking and easy access are available. Prepare to pay a hefty price, but all worth it.
