We came here with our 3 year old. The staff were incredibly kind and lovely. The main issue I have with this place was the food. The sweet potato mash was lumpy and tasted like it been boiled for days. The lobster bisque was bland and lacked any depth of flavor besides mild fishiness. The steak, while well cooked and seasoned, was over powered by the Stilton cheese on top. The burnaise sauce was also oddly tart. The drinks were watery and weak. Even the bread served at the table lacked salt. The truffle mac and cheese was excellent however, and our kid loved it. Also excellent was the Shrimp Islamorada.Dietary restrictions: We don’t eat pork, they took that into account.Parking: Lots of open gravel parking.Kid-friendliness: We had a kid and the staff were incredible with him, very very patient.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Great restaurant in the keys. We were seated then had to get a waiter to come by to ask for his help. The food was great, so were the drinks.

Didn't get to eat. Water boy came by. NO-ONE else. Waited about 40 minutes. We're not acknowledged by any staff. We to hostess and said we were leaving. She couldn't have cared less.Parking: Good luck!

Love this place for a great steak and a classic cocktail. The menu has other choices beyond steak. Service is top notch. Wine list is extensive. The history adds to the ambience of the restaurant.

Will never be back drove 2and a half hours to get here before 10 we knew we’re going to be late called twice and got the same answer both times and we made it here before 10 when the last reservation could have been made and then when we show up we get told the cooks are already putting stuff away they should be not putting stuff away until at least 15 minutes after last reservation pry won’t ever be back sadly to say! They all should be able to tell you that you have to be there at least 25 minutes before hand to get food sad

My wife, my son and I went and there was nothing on the menu that the child would eat and we bought him pizza somewhere else. They scolded us for having food from outside the restaurant on the table. We understood and we were going to put the pizza in the car when the unpleasant man with a bow tied up by a man who works there, we don't know if he was a waiter or if he took the pizza from us and took it away with tremendous bad form and left our 4-year-old son screaming in terror for his pizza and we immediately asked for the bill and paid what we had consumed and we left that man in very bad shape, we will never return again

Was saddened to learn this is the 1% of restaurants in the Keys that does not cook your fresh fish catch. The staff were quite curt about it as well, we did not feel very welcomed. Regardless of this we tried to enjoy our time. Our dishes were presented well but I wish we were warned about the portion sizes. The lobster tail and white truffle mac & cheese was comical in size. I recommend to change that entrée to be more like a casserole dish - who in their right mind would eat all of that? $70 for a yellowtail and a bit of crab for the special was shocking. The restaurant should really mention the prices as we felt misled. The steak was fine, the highlights were actually the burrata salad and the molten lava cake.It certainly is an institution and the prices of the meals reflect that but for an extra special evening it's worth it, just be careful about what you order and don't bring your own fish for fear of being dissed.

Waited 35 + minutes wait staff totally ignored us. Staff person I asked to get us menus said he was only a water boy so did give us water. After another timed 10 minutes we left, hungry and po'ed. My wife went to hostess and told her we were leaving. She couldn't have cared less. ?????"Porch" outside very close to traffic, road noise and dust?Parking: Parking was a pain. Very small lot. A few spots in front if you didn't drive past them, or get rear ended.
