“😋Had a great experience at Calypso Sur in Tavernier. It's a small place with a laid back, super casual vibe and the food is extra special .... so good! We had the She Crab soup (delicious), the Hogfish Tacos and Hogfish sandwich (both great, super fresh and perfectly seasoned) and a Jalapeno Steak sandwich (loaded with yumminess). The owner/chef (who has received many cooking award trophies that were displayed) took care of us this Tuesday night on his own ... and we felt special in his "house"! We left with "Wow, that was awesome!" Don't be offset by the small setting. While we were there an officer came in to order. You know if the local first responders are there, it's got to be good! Thanks!“

“Had my first experience at Lido 73 today. First off, the outside dining area is right on the canal where you can watch the fish and other wildlife while you eat which sure beats a TV in the corner. The second thing you'll notice is an expansive menu which truly has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a lite bite or a main dish (like myself) I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The wine/beer list is equally as expansive and welcoming of all tastes.

Now down to business. I ordered the fillet medallions on and empty stomach and was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meat - cooked medium rare as I had requested. There is only one other restaurant that can match this quality and they are far more expensive without the accompanying sides. I was able to substitute mashed potatoes and asparagus which elevated the meal passed medley and fingerling potatos that come standard.

“They kept the charm of the old Marker 88 in little details like keep the 2 GREEN covered table and benches almost in the same location as before... a iconic scene was shot in one of them on a episode of BLOODLINE. Food is as good if not better than before if that is possible.... service is excellent too. Friendly staff including hostess/host and waitresses/waiters very impressed with the new dock and WOW EVERY table has a GREAT view to take in LOTS of selfies were being taken during my visit, I celebrated my 78th Birthday 1 day before and had Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos for Lunch. “What a fun place! We sat outside on the patio facing the canal, the water was great, it rained a little but we were under the tiki hut so even right at the rail, we didn't get wet. The server (Derrick) was awesome, he helped us choose our meals, was very attentive, had a great personality. The food, well the good was excellent, we had peel and eat shrimp to start, it was liberally spiced, not sure with what but it was delicious, a little bite but I don't do spicy and this was not too hot, just good. Then for our entree, we shared the seafood platter, it too was very good. The shrimp in both dishes were HUGE, the fish was light and flaky, everything on the plate was just right. “A party of 4, we went for breakfast at 10am. Lucy was our server. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She was hands down one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had at any restaurant. We had a bad experience at another local restaurant the evening before and was kind of over key largo until we stumbled upon Sharkey’s/Lucy. The food was delicious too. Such an all around great experience we plan to go back for dinner.“
