Sooooo glad I saw this place on our way home from the Keys. The woman was so kind and she made my bowl before I was even done checking out all the offerings around the restaurant. They had so many cool things. Love orchids. Organic nuts. Even refrigerated stuff and jewelry. I ended up getting a bowl to-go and it had a good amount of toppings as you can see and the base was creamy and delicious. We will definitely make this a routine stop on our way up and back.

Based on the reviews, Maria's Keys Roots is an absolutely incredible spot with the best food in Islamorada. It offers fresh, healthy, and delicious options like bowls, the Beet It juice, and the tutti frutti smoothie made with fresh fruit. The staff and owner are incredibly kind, friendly, and positive, providing excellent service with smiles. Beyond the quality of the food, the restaurant is a non profit that helps raise money for kids in need, combining fresh, real food with a beautiful mission. It is a must visit on a trip to Islamorada for quality ingredients, good service, and people who actually care.
