Amazing food from a very attentive staff. We went on a fishing charter with Get Bent Charters (which I also HIGHLY recommend if you want an amazing experience) and Chris told us to take our fresh catch here and have it prepared! We chose 3 different preperation styles, all of which were amazing (I wish I would have gotten all 6, just to experience the diversity of flavors!!!) From the quality ingredients of the salad (the wedge salad with the heirloom tomatoes is a must try), to level of detail in the preperation of the fish and flavor profiles of the differing styles, and the most amazing cheesecake I have ever had (salted carmel cheescake brulee...i really wanted to get an entire cheescske to take home with me)! If your in the area, definitely come to Chef Michaels! This was hands down the best place we ate during our trip from the top to the bottom of the Keys!

WOW. First time down to the keys and our resort recommended this place. My husband and I are from Ohio and of course the bartender was as well. Service was top notch and the food was incredible. Wine was amazing but they do have BYOB for a corkage fee. Will definitely be back!

The food was much better than I thought it was going to be. I got sautéed triple tail and it was very good! The whole lion fish was amazing! If you’re into eating a whole fried fish, it’s extremely filing, much larger than it seems!

They advertise Lionfish but don't serve it. It feels extremely misleading, and disappointing- especially because you are subject to a 100$ penalty if you cancel a reservation. The service was okay but mostly indifferent. The restaurant responded to my review- as if they didn't advertise heavily that this was an offering and available for purchase. I understand they will serve what's avaliable, but it feels like they just want to position it as a "fluke/misinterpretation of availability" when it's literally a misrepresentation of what they offer.
