We came here after years of not coming to having breakfast yesterday and today lunch. What great food and the sticky bun was delicious. Our waiter Stephanie H has outstanding personalized service , friendliness and was on top of our table that’s why we came back.

Indoor dining. No dogs, but the bartender was very pleasant and made great drinks! The food is the best around! Very busy, but luckily we found 2 seats at the bar.

Their soups are so spicy and salty, that we could not eat them after the first spoon... The only available fish is Mahi Mahi, and their sandwich was good, average. Coleslaw and hash brown casserole were good. Not going back. :(

We had Kay as a waitress and she was amazing. She had fantastic recommendations and did not rush us at all. Really enjoyed our dinner. All 4 of us got the catch of the day done different ways. So delicious.

I would have liked to have given more stars but our service was terrible and there was a curly, nasty hair sitting on the butter they served me with my breakfast. How disgusting!!! When very discreetly brought to their attention, there was no apology at all and no adjustment of our bill or anything. I probably should not have even left a tip but I did. I do not recommend this place and feel the snobs that own, run it and work here need to do a much better job at hosting their guests. I call them snobs because thats how they acted, as if they were better than us.
Places I do recommend in the Keys are Lorelei, Lazy Days and any place but Green Turtle Inn.

I owe Green Turtle Inn an apology…I was sooo wrong! I’ve been going to the keys since I was old enough to drive(I’m 61yrs now) and have passed by GTI a thousand times. I’ve never stopped because I’ve always thought or had been told it was a dive.
I was sooo WRONG!!! A friend of mine who lives in the keys strongly suggested we eat there - we did, and we LOVED it! So much so that we back the next morning for breakfast-loved that too! I AM SORRY!
Now, we can’t wait to return to the keys just to be able to stop in at GTI - now one of my favorite restaurants in the keys! Btw, the service for both dinner and breakfast was phenomenal, as was the food!
I’m sorry and thank you! Also, congrats on your many years of serving the Keys.

Fantastic food, friendly service, Large portions. The green turtle salad is lovely. Fresh baby spinach, dried fruits, cashews, cucumber,and tomato with a light yummy dressing. The hogfish looked and smelled wonderful. Served with rainbow carrots, asparagus and potatoes. My other friend had the yellow tail snapped with veggies and rice or potatoes so fresh and looked beautiful. I had the Wednesday special New York Strip with potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. Did I mention the warm bread with butter. Wow what a fantastic meal but be prepared to take some home so you leave room for desert. Decadent chocolate mousse with fresh strawberries and whipped green.
