I went with 3 other people this week. We arrived at 4ish and there wasn’t much going on. Our food was bland and one of the steaks were cold. The side portions were oddly small, my husband and I got 4 sticks of fried yuca each and the other two people get 4 onion rings. Also another table came after us was offer Cuban bread but we were never offered that.On a good note. The place was clean and everyone was very nice. The Moro was delicious.

Literally the last stop for amazing and authentic Cuban Food when heading south. You wont regret stopping here for some real homemade flavor, although the atmosphere is very basic, it does lend itself to the traditional Cuban Cafeteria with little frills and great food.The Cuban coffee is a must, not only is it delicious, it is also necessary to pump you back up, once you've gorged all the savory menu items.Super casual, like everything in the keys. I could literally eat here every day.

Amazing, sums it up! If you catch yellow tail snapper and want it cooked to perfection, several different ways, this is the place to take it for sure. I’m not easily impressed but this place blew me away! Highly recommended!!

Best Cuban Restaurant!!!We’ve tried best Cuban restaurants all over, but this place is by far the best Cuban place.When we went to Cuba (2019), food was nothing like this. This is our happy place while in the Keys.We bring our catch and they cook the way you want. Our favorite way is; beer battered, blacked and garlic scampi style. It comes with 2 sides of your choice.Vaca Frita is amazing, and my daughter always get pepper steak. Their yuca, onion rings, sweet plantains, rice and beans are all excellent.My favorite is blackened scallop and this dish is out of this world! Quality of scallops, portions and flavor is beyond words can describe.Flan and Cuban coffee is the best way to finish amazing meal.We dined here over 30+ times and had amazing meal every single time.As a local resident of Islamorada, I highly recommend this place.
