We had an amazing time with Brad Bertelli as we explored the flavors and history of the Keys. We'll be back and bring our friends

We visit whenever we are in Islamorada and always have a great time and great food. We have a condo down in Marathon and send our guests there. Never a disappointment. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or just cocktails- the atmosphere is the best!

Very cool vibe! Beautiful view. Got to feed the tarpons!! Had the shrimp and coconut shrimp and it was mediocre. Bit overpriced but island prices I guess. But I might recommend the happy hour boiled shrimp. Great value and tasty.

The Hungry Tarpon is a restaurant at Robbie's. We were surprised by the food and the service. We had mahi sandwich which was very good and the fish and chips which was less good. The view of the bay was an added pleasure.

Stopped by on the way out of the keys for breakfast and to feed the Tarpon. During breakfast (around sunrise) we were getting swarmed and bitten by no-see-um bugs. Only posting about them due to having babies and it could be severely painful for little ones. They went away after the sun came up. Breakfast was ok, the hashbrown casserole is just hashbrowns with cheese and green onions on top. Biscuits & gravy had a ton of flour lumps in it. Glazed donut french toast is a glazed donut pan fried. Ham came out in little chunks. My mom really enjoyed the trash packed bloody mary.

This was the first stop of the day on our way to Key West. Wanted to find a place for a great breakfast with a view of the sunrise and Robbie's Hungry Tarpon did not disappoint! We sat on the deck and watched the sun break the horizon behind the island and watched several boats head out for their catch. The sounds of nature with the on-the-water gorgeous views... the birds and fish - it was a perfect morning! Now on to the meal - I ordered the Glazed Donut French Toast with the cheddar scallion hash browns and it was not only unique but superbly delicious! I love French toast AND donuts but together as one? Fantabulous! And the fun spin on a traditional potato dish? Delish! It was so good I can't wait to go back to have the very same thing! Don't pass on the opportunity to feed the tarpon after your delicious meal. That is an absolute blast and an experience you don't know you need to have! When we came they had just opened and we were seated and served immediately. The atmosphere at sunrise was serene and breathtakingly beautiful. But, Robbie's is a hoppin' place and when we came by much later the lot was full and it was bustlin' with music and all sorts of festivities. Worth returning for a completely different and extremely fun vibe! And did I mention the food was fantastic??!? Highly recommend a stop at this wonderful place!

Food was good, service was okay but food was pretty much dropped off by a food runner who took off without asking if we needed anything else. It took almost 10 minutes to flag down another server to ask for condiments (not sure why they are brought with the food).

I came to Restaurant hoping to enjoy a special moment with my family. After spending nearly $200, we left a $10 tip — not out of disrespect, but based on our experience and what we could offer. To our surprise, a bartender who unfortunately I don't know his name and who had not even served us returned the tip, visibly upset that it didn’t meet his expectations.
What he didn’t know is that we are low income, and treating my family that day was something meaningful — not just a transaction ! Tipping is meant to reflect gratitude, not to be demanded or judged, especially by someone who played no part in serving our table. Who is he to judge ? I hope a homeless person does not show up to this place knowing this could be the persons last meal and out of respect and care gives the sever a low tip because unfortunately that's all they Have!
If this is a restaurant that only accepts high income families then it should be placed on google or in the main entrance of this place !
I’m writing this not to shame anyone, but to hopefully remind the staff and management that everyone has a story — and no guest should ever be made to feel embarrassed or unworthy based on a tip. We came to spend time together and left feeling judged.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously. A little empathy goes a long way.
I may not have had much to give, but money is money, and I gave what I could. That $10 came from the heart. It’s disappointing that it wasn’t treated with respect.

Old Florida Keys gem, tucked inside Robbie’s Marina in Islamorada. We came during the off-season—peaceful, breezy, and no crowds. A quick storm rolled through, but the covered seating kept us relatively dry.
I had fish and chips; she had conch chowder and a fried grouper sandwich. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Drinks were spot on—Key Lime Colada for me, Bloody Mary for her. We didn’t feed the tarpon, but watching others do it added to the laid-back vibe.
If you’re after real Keys charm without the chaos, this spot delivers.
