Islamorada Fish Company

Love this restaurant! 10/10. We had the fish and chip-best I have ever had! We also had the key lime pie because you have to when you are in the Keys! Soooo good! Then there is the atmosphere-tarpons swimming by, pelicans floating, and the view-wow! To add to that there was great music from a singer (didn’t catch his name) and a wonderful waitress! Definitely will be back!

The fish was raw and translucent. By the time they recooked it and brought it back my rice side dish was cold. The salad was delicious though.

Service was great. We had a wonderful waitress who was attentive, friendly, and engaging.

The food we ordered was very good. Husband got the whole yellow fin snapper with a huge quantity of green beans and mashed potatoes. Definitely something he'd order again. I got the grilled Parmesan chicken that came with A large portion of asparagus covered in the same sauce that the chicken was and a medium size of mashed potatoes. Not sure why his was double the size of mine but it was still a good portion. The chicken was tasty. It had a nice cream sauce on it though. I wouldn't say that the amount of chicken was huge but it was a fair size. And the key lime pie was good and totally shareable.

I don't know if this place offers portable heaters in their outdoor dining, but there were none in the ceiling area and it was a Cool. Slightly breezy evening. In that case, I suggest sitting more in the center of the outside section. We were seated right by the water where the cool Factor was more noticeable.

The views are very nice. The only thing I would ding it on and I'm sure this has nothing to do with them is a fishing vessel that is moored up to the pier which completely blocked our view of the sunset. Not that we couldn't walk around and still get pictures of the sunset, but the ugly fishing boat was just a slight detractor. Otherwise this was one of our more favorite meals in the area. We would definitely go back.

The conch fritters are where it’s at. Wasn’t impressed by the islamorada fish sandwich which they recommended . Atmosphere is solely dependent on the time of the day and year since it’s outside . Music is at a good volume . It’s a good dive bar on the go and if you like drinking

First off,we didn’t need to wait to get seated,but we needed to wait an hour and 12 minutes to get our food,I don’t know what happened in the kitchen.While me my family and friends were waiting I saw a cockroach on the wall, and it was really big.The atmosphere was great,love the tarpon in the lake.The food is fantastic one of the best I ate probably.Service was okay they were nice but I didn’t understand well what the waiter was saying.There was 11 people and 3 checks,the waiters messed up all of the checks😤.

Really nice restaurant with an incredible view, next to bass pros. The ocean and view are beautiful, the food was okay. You get to see the fishes. I highly recommend this place in islamorada.
