On our 2nd visit to Island Grill, we had the spicy salmon bowl, and mahi tacos. They were both good with nice flavor combinations and ingredients. The reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars, from us, is their special menu that they have around happy hour time. The food I got was cold/wet in the middle, like when you reheat frozen food improperly. Food didn't taste that great either, could be because of the aforementioned reheating, or I'm just accustomed to more flavorful foods. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was great, chill and laid back. Food was over priced. They include gratuity in the bill, this is a great practice but just a heads up.
I have been dining here for 10+ years and enjoy the experience every time. I recently organized my engagement here, and Jelena made the process super clear and easy to choose the different dining options available for events. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was great and large portioned, the area was cleaned perfectly prior to where there was not a leaf in the sand was present for my event. I could not be more pleased. Thanks team!
