First time here and last time here. Really disappointed in our server. She never explained that there were 2 specials going on with the ribeye steaks. Which she told us were $49. Of course we ordered the bone in and we're shocked ? when we received our bill to find out the ribeye bone-in was $89! And it wasn't even that good. Also think they forgot the key lime juice in the pie. Awful! She took it away and charged us anyway. It was so loud inside that restaurant that our table of 8 couldn't hold a conversation. Very stressful evening! And when we talked to the male manager on duty he could only say he was ? sorry. Where is customer service these days! Will never go back. Feel like we were tricked!

They messed up our reservation and didn’t care. Acted like it was our fault, they are busy. We ended up waiting for our table to be made up and then we were placed by six children and a baby. It was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves think. it was absolutely awful. Then one of us ordered the special, was asked if we wanted it bone in, he said yes, not knowing it it was 39.00 more. 89.00 for not very good meat. The rest of us had fillets. They were very good, but when we said we were overcharged for the special, all they did was say sorry. It all comes from the management. It was a bad experience from the beginning to the end. Even when we have to speak to the manager. Keylime pie was terrible. We mentioned it and did not eat it, the waitress said she’d take it off the bill and of course she never did. This all makes it sound like it was an OK experience it was not we will not be back

Went to Kaiyo last night while working nearby. The Tuna Nachos were awesome!I had the Coco Loco and it was delicious. Lots of folks there and it took 20 minutes to get some more water after the bottle was taken away but overall a great place. A premium place with a Premium price.

I ordered the grilled octopus which although tasty arrived cold and very tough and chewy. The bok choy it was served with tasted soapy. The waiter took our order and never returned to refill our water or check on us.

Stopped here on my way down to key west and had Payton as my server. She was so informative and absolutely a very pleasant person to talk to! She gave great recommendations and the food tasted fresh and made with love. Definitely stop here if you are in the area!

We returned to check out some of the changes to the menu and the sunset locals' happy hour. FYI, the happy hour is for everyone, not locals only, and it's for the entire restaurant, not just the bar. The only thing that stopped me from coming here regularly has been the price of the food based on portions. The quality has never been an issue, and the food has always been excellent. So I'm happy they brought back a happy hour and adjusted the menu, so there's something for everyone's budget now. Everything we had was outstanding. We had almost everything on the HH menu and brought friends. We also ordered the mermaid roll off the main menu and bread pudding for dessert. Our server was great, and we will most definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this place. Very memorable experience. The manager was our server because the restaurant was busy due to an event. She took fantastic care of us and we had the best meal we've had yet. Everything from the drinks to the desert was superb. Thank you for such a wonderful experience we won't forget! Also restaurant is celiac friendly and has great gluten free offerings.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were great
