Note that they do not have maine lobsters, just spiny aka clawless FL lobsters. If you know, you know the difference in taste.

We bought 5 live lobsters and several stone crab claws. The service was not good as we got attitude; however they cleaned and gutted the lobsters for us (with tip). We purchased some fish dip for $14. After leaving, we realized that they sold us expired dip.

Background- we are local, home across the hwy, been buying here for several years back when it was Mr. Lobster. Today around 3:15 pm, we stopped in on our way to Ft Lauderdale to get some stone crab claws. A young man behind the counter shared info about the large, they looked good, we inquired about date of pull, was told they were set out on Monday. Today is Thursday so we checked the smell. Obviously not being cracked, we took the chance to purchase since they did not smell. And especially since it was “buy 2 lbs, get 1 free”. Spent $77 on 3 lbs. Should have known better. Got to FLL, cracked and immediately, whew, yucky smell. Washed off with water thinking they can’t sell unsafe shellfish. Did not work, tried to eat and nope, don’t want to get sick. Threw them away, not good. Please save yourself time- check carefully!! So disappointed. We will call tomorrow but needed to share as it is awful to throw money away but even worse to get sick. Check carefully!!!
