The food is amazing! The downstairs is super great! Great food and service! Angelica was so sweet and a great waitress. Highly recommend. The upstairs on the other hand TERRIBLE! Dont waste your time unless you want to ruin your night. But I did want to highlight the amazing downstairs for people who did want to visit just skip the bar!

Ron is the gold standard in servers and saved the day with an extra shaker of blackened seasoning for fish of the day. Rockstar servers are rare, ask for Ron by name. Also get blackened triple fish if avail. 11/10!

Lunch with friends today March 4, 2026 was awesome...food was great but our waiter Ron was so great .. he was fun and very good at what he does!!! Thank you Ron!!!! Made it such a fun time

This was even better than our usual great lunch experience at the Grouper . The specials were creative and wonderful. Our server Ron was the best! Positive, engaging and enjoying his day. Highly recommend.

The food is outstanding. The vibe and the atmosphere are both wonderful. Our waiter Ron was a fabulous server and a fun guy to spend our time with here. We will be back for everything!

FANTASTIC! I had the tile fish and the lady had almond grouper and it was absolutely worth it. Might cost an arm and a leg but I would happily give up a appendage for another plate of tile fish. Service was awesome and the bar upstairs had a guy with curly hair that had me try some drinks I've never heard before. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Food was delicious. Service was great..atmosphere was pleasant. Make sure you arrive early, not sure if they take reservations, but we waited over an hour for a table. Good thing they have an upstairs bar with appetizers, drinks and apps were on point!!

Ok so this will be a little long winded. The first time we went to the square grouper was 2 years ago and we absolutely fell in love with the place!! The food was absolutely amazing and so was the atmosphere! We ate upstairs and couldn't Love it more! We came back the following year and ate downstairs and it was good but it wasn't amazing like we remembered, but we still walked away with a smile on our face. So just last week we were returned for a third time and we're totally bummed out! We went and ate upstairs again so that way we could try and duplicate our first time there. The food just isn't the same as our first time. The quality has gone down and so have the recipes. The chef must be trying to mix things up and it just didn't work out in our favor. The atmosphere is still the same, so if you are going for drinks and the view, you won't be disappointed! We were so very sad when we left our iconic favorite.
