Hands down this is one of the best pizza joints we’ve EVER been to. My husband and I ordered a large meats to split. Every piece was piled with toppings. Marley took our order and he was super friendly and attentive. We will 100% be back when we’re in town again!

I am a 49-year-old Texas woman. I have eaten pizza at probably hundreds of pizza franchises as well as family owned, small pizzerias in my life. In July 2025, my family of five ate at this restaurant and fought over the enormous pizzas that we ordered. We all admitted that we weren’t even that hungry, but we just could not get enough! We all agree that it is the best pizza we have ever eaten and I will admit that I’m a bit depressed knowing that I will likely never get to eat here again. I even called them to see if they might have franchisees somewhere else in the United States. They told me that they are a single location, family owned place. I know that it may seem hyperbolic, but I am 100% serious when I tell you that I have never eaten pizza that even comes close. This place is something special.

My family and I visited this pizza place today to place a takeout order. From the moment we walked in, we felt an unwelcoming atmosphere. The gentleman behind the counter was noticeably unprofessional and treated my husband and son with clear disrespect—avoiding eye contact and speaking to them dismissively during the ordering process.

What made the situation worse was observing a stark difference in how other customers were treated. When individuals who appeared to be white Americans entered, the staff’s demeanor completely shifted—smiles, quicker service, and friendly interactions. Their order was even completed before ours, despite arriving after us.

As Latino professionals, we waited patiently, paid respectfully, and even thanked the staff—yet received no acknowledgment in return. It’s disappointing and hurtful to feel that we were possibly treated differently because of who we are.

Good service should be for everyone, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the biases that may be impacting the way customers are treated

The food was ok. We ordered a meatball sub and garlic knots. The meatball sub was pretty dry and had very little marinara sauce. However, the garlic knots were very delicious. I wish the food had come out closer together, instead of twenty minutes apart.
The workers were very kind and had excellent service.

Usually eat in at Whistle Stop. Was in a hurry, ordered online. Meals were ready on time, everything was fresh and hot, and it was just as good as eating at the bar, only lacked the atmosphere at my desk😁

Food was delicious and quick. We ordered 2 types of pizza and both were cooked just right- unlike some other similar pizza places that overcook and harden the dough. Our server was friendly and kind. We were very happy with our whole experience!

Hate to be a negative Nellie 🙄 but im local... across the street. Last 3 times I have had Pizza it's Medium Rare.I give up 3 new pizza spots in Islamorada yall better step it up.
