Food was decent, drinks were cheap. They have several pool tables, lots of TVs and a jukebox inside, a pizzeria and a liquor store attached. Service wasn't really service, just a bartender who wasn't friendly or welcoming, mix of locals and tourists. Could be a really cool place if the employees were more friendly

Cool place to hang out with locals. Everyone is very friendly. They have a package store too and pizza place next door . The Pub is much larger inside than it looks .

The only bar around open real late. This was one of the reasons we stayed at Cheeka lodge. lol great bartenders. Pizza was decent too.
A terrible bar. Never did get the food we ordered, tried to charge us for drinks. We didn’t drink. Got an attitude when I called him out on running my card without even letting me check the bill. Complete with yelling and foul language. Low end, shady operation. Stay away.

Visited the Whistle Stop again for the 3rd time this year. So incredibly disappointed that the bartender "Mike" is still there. He is the rudest human on the planet. I am done visiting this place until someone tells me he's gone. Surely there are better options of employees. Unfortunate as this place could be a nice option with all it offers. Management clearly does not care about customer service.
